If you have out your name down and its on the first page but have not been invited to the steam group, that is because i could not locate your steam ID so please send me your steam url.

Side not: I am doing my best to get my internet sorted and may even have to pre download fifa 12 at work! This is because BT messed up and changed my number! found out the hard way when my wife called me during the day saying internet dont work. went hoem tried to fix it and called my ISP and they said to do the usual reset roouter, inut these settings etc etc. last thing they told me was to completely disconnect my router from the pone line and when they told me have i dont it yet and i kept insisting i have, they said i have not as according to their system a router is still connected to my number?

i then checked my pone line and dialed from my landline to my mobile and to my amazement some random arse number appeared! i was like WTF man? whats this crap? This aint my number! i then called my real number and some random old lady picked up!

Anyways i managed to call BT and they said they must have switched my connection by accident in one of teh exchange and that they will hopefully try to fix it within the next 3 days. man i was fuming on the phone and so was my missus.

Blooming unacceptable this is. Guy i spoke to on BT said that had i not told them the fault, they would no have known :( is it worth calling my ISP and telling them this new update?

chances of that happening is slim from my experience unless all of us are all active players who will play this game mode to death:D

Anyways in past club games you can play multiple games by joining into a different dressing room.

Tonight i will make the club and invite u all, please make sure ur on steam and join the steam chat group
 
Steam is a must as its the central main hub for our club. not all members are from ocuk and during a club match we will communicate in the steam group chat. This thread is really a recruitment thread. for proper discussions amongs us folks in the club, make a post on steam. You can access the steam group and post messages through your web browser

Also i found out this morning you can add fifa as a none steam game as well.

Sorry for all who do not like steam but this is the only solution. we NEED a central hub that is common to all and in this case its Steam as all of us have a Steam account.

Origin would have been fine on its own if it had a "Origin Group" thingy but right now it doesnt. its very very basic.

Please note that not only am i organising clubs for us all but i will also organise 1v1 online leagues amongst us basically i am building a large community for us to all enjoy fifa 12 together. their is around 15 already in our steam group and counting.

I am going to add some of the guys who have posted their steam id's now in a minute.
 
Last night we had a full 11 man squad so great turn out!

Some observations last night. In our first game with all 11 of us playing, it was a mess. most of us where all out of positions and at first i thought i was playing in a random 11v11 match :(

I was a RCB for example and many times my other LCB playing alongside me was all over the place not staying in left center of the pitch but instead staying right next to me! As a result there was many times we tripped and bumped over each other lol. And our full backs? diddnt see them at all in the first half as they kept bombing forward :(

Our midfielders too kept bombing forward and diddnt keep shape in the midfield at all :( 2nd half we did improve a bit as i messaged some folks to stay in position and my fellow CB partner stayed in position well and in line for us so at least people are realizing their mistakes and willing to improve upon it.

Our GK was a guy called Zero(his origin name) he was sensational. fantastic Goalie and easily our number one GK IMO. he was immense and made some amazing saves where i think not even the GK AI could have achieve. Zero made fantastic decision making runs to shut out many 1v1 opportunities that happened and i think he only made one or two mistakes which led to a goal but overall he was awesome. Well played.

Here is another thing i noticed last night especially during the last few games we played. Why do people keep passing the ball up the air and using the through ball pass all the time? We need to pass it on the floor lads. 9/10 u do a high through ball it gets intercepted. you hardly see the likes of Barcelona play many high balls. we need to keep the ball on the floor most times and in order to do that we need players to make inteligent runs to get into space.

Which leads me to another thing. We NEED to use MICS. no ifs or buts. we need to try and use them. We need to make use of either teamspeak, mumble or skype. The fifa voice comms are not up to the job lads so lets see if we can organise a teamspeak server. maybe all join the ocuk or AVF one and ask the admin/owner of that server to create a separate FIFA 12 channel for us.

Even if you cant use your mic, at least you can still join in and listen to vital communications from other players. This will help us improve our game by ten folds.

other then that lets keep at it. we will get better. we all need to gel and using mics will help us play more efficiently.
