Im tempted to build a Newcastle team as we have a few players but would need to bring in a striker :rolleyes:

I feel the players cant run past the opposition as easily anymore and its harder to do the one - two over the top so really looking forward.

Still havent preodered it yet, just going to wait and see if any supermarkets are doing mid night launch at cheap prices
 
Waiting for the full game before forming any opinions as I'm being reminded why I don't play ever against the AI (Apart from the Demos obviously ;p) - it's too easy
 
What about Ba? I thought he was meant to be quite handy in FIFA 11 or is he rubbish? I haven't pre-ordered either, I can't imagine it being sold out so I'll probably just order it a few days before release or I'll go into town on release day and get one from a supermarket.

His normal card was rubbish but his IF card was awesome, if he manages to get an IF card I may get him. If ameobi got an IF card I think that would be a definite purchase for me!!!
 
I'm not sure how I feel about FIFA 12. It seems slow. It seems to look quite poor, lots of jaggies, player animations. And I can't get my head around this new 'tactical' defending thing. They say they want emphasis on positioning, tackle timing and the like - but I had that with FIFA 11. I was always controlling a player way off the ball, sending in another player to harass the opponent. And I was always making sure I timed the tackle right. It's not like you could just spam X and get the ball.

I just don't know. :(

I'm holding my breath on it though, because like with FIFA 11, I had a terrible time in the demo and eventually got used to it.

Oh well, I'll keep playing the demo, and hopefully by the 25th, I won't be so crap. :D
 
i don't really like the demo,i find it abit sluggish,fifa sort of feels like its lost its pick up and play factor,its getting more and more complicated every year.I liked the old fifa's because you could just pass a controller to mate and just tell them the buttons and they would be playing.I just cannot get the hang of the new tackling,its like the players have a shield around them and by the time i slide or standing tackle they are miles away.
