Demo is an old build. Probably around early July.

Fifa always ships with all the latest squad updates. Its only in jan you have to wait a few weeks for the squad updates.
 
With this TOTW on the 20th, are we just hoping to get these TOTW players in our free two packs or are we going to be able to buy packs?
 
Do ShopTo take the payment for pre-order right away or do they wait until they despatch? Just wondering so I can work my funds out.

Don't know if its been mentioned already,

If you don't like the new defending, in the controller options you can change the Defending mode from Tactical to Legacy Defending.

This will revert back to the old pressure and team pressure system.

It's been mentioned but unfortunately that option will be disabled when you play online so it's probably better to get used to it. I had another blast on the demo earlier and I'm still ****, not just at the defending, but at the whole game in general. It feels way slower than previous versions and building up any sort of meaningful attack on anything other than retard difficulty is just too hard for me. REALLY frustrating especially when it seems like only the very best players can actually make an accurate pass further than 10 yards...
 
I'm quite disappointed with the demo to be honest. I dislike the speed of the game, the defending is terrible and passing and attacking seem more difficult then previous incarnations of the game.

I'm not sure if I'll pick this up this year, first years since '96 that I've doubted getting FIFA.

Have you only played the AI? The AI plays a lot different then vs a real player. I was really confused playing the AI, but after playing my friend it felt a lot more familiar.

Really? Where's the source on that? I play someone who has the PES button setup and he plays it on Ultimate Team, so unless they've specifically stated you have to play one set of button controls, I don't see why you won't be able to use custom button configurations. Unless you're only talking about the 'normal' online play.
 
Defending against a real player is weird but you get used to it a bit, defending against the AI though I find nearly impossible...

I usually play on World Class and find it practically impossible to tackle them, even on Professional it's very hard and I can only just manage on semi-pro because they AI is massively poorer. The AI definitely plays better football though and uses quite a lot of the skill moves too.

Game pace is slower but I guess that's essential otherwise no one would ever make any tackles.

3 minute matches are annoying!
