I see your point about Ferdinand, he was left over from my Prem team so haven't looked at options. I did have IF Kos from Arsenal but he's only a 82. I previously had Gervinho and IF Bellamy and they did well covering.

I have played around with formations and I'm quite confident that if I concede 5 goals I can score 6. :D David Luiz is a beast, don't see myself changing him, he also get's good Chem with Cech.

I could change to a 4-3-3 but that's a bit of coinage for the formation cards.
 
There just was someone missing every time I went to play a pass like I want to, there was no one there to build it up with, I can't skin people really so it didn't suit me :p

Going to buy Pato & Maicon and possibly Lucio to replace Ogbonna.

My team at the moment:

Cassano is perfect for a CF in my team, 90 vision, 92 ball control, 85 dribbling, and 90 short passing. He won't win many out and out races but he doesn't need to when he has player to pass to in all directions. 5 star skills and the high dribbling will catch some players out who try to just run at him and he's good at set pieces as well.
 
Cassano sounds like use the man I need for CF - I needed a faster version of Totti really, but not an extremely faster version just a bit more nimble so he sounds good. I like to have someone at CF that can pick a pass, currently rotating between Micolli/Totti so shall try him out.

I'd say he's a better version of Totti, great link up with the strikers and like I say, in that formation he doesn't need to be fast because there's a player in every direction for him to pass to. Amazing shot on him as well, his stats for shooting are only 78 shot power and 76 long shot but he's much better than that. You can put them in the back of the net from 30 yards in open play with ease. :)

If that's your thing you might wanna look into IF Nocerino as well, he only cost me 15,000 so being on Xbox I reckon you can get him cheaper than that. 90 aggression so he'll win a lot of possession for you in the middle, 85 long pass, 91 long shot, 95 shot power, 89 short pass, 85 volleys. Could be a slightly more expensive option at CF as he has all the tools to be good there. :)

By the way, if it was you who was considering getting rid of Ogbonna, don't! Unless you just don't get on with him or something. :)

Sounds good, I've always liked Totti and usually end up back at him like I did on 11 as well, most people don't like him but I think he's great at CF, shall grab Cassano when back on :)

Ultimatedb says he's 25K on XBOX which I'm not sure I'll be able to afford, I'll see what everyone sells for but if I grab Maicon I don't think I can get him.

Yeah - I like Ogbonna but I was going to see if Lucio was any better, I don't really have any problem with Ogbonna apart from chemistry - I have Nesta on the other side of Chiellini who I might try replacing but I do really like him, just sometimes gets caught for pace unfortunately.

I would definitely keep Ogbonna, I won't bore you with the stats, you've probably already seen them for yourself anyway but he's a monster and he's fast as hell, I'd definitely keep him! Personally I'd have Abate as the right back instead of Maicon though. Not sure how much Abate costs exactly, but I know it's only a few thousand coins, last time I checked on Maicon he was nearer the 25,000 - 30,000 mark and I just don't find him to be worth that amount of coins over someone like Abate who is quicker and in my opinion more solid at the back. :)

I have no idea how he's only rated 75 OVR. I was playing a game yesterday against some guy with Drogba and Torres up front. Ogbonna kept them both in his back pocket. :D

I currently have Abate and find him fine as well apart from not being that strong, Maicon is about 18K on XBOX I think.

My current team is -

Stek

Abate -- Nesta -- Chi -- Ogbonna -- Taiwo
Cambiasso -- De Rossi
Totti
Neymar -- Pato

It's generally pretty solid, sometimes I swap out Cambiasso for Pirlo as well.

Looks good, you just have to ask yourself is Maicon really a 15,000 improvement over Abate, or would that money be better spent elsewhere? :)

I wish the PS3 Market has crashed to the level of Xbox. Maicon is still 27k on PS3. :(

Miccoli didn't skin my defenders he out paced 1 and then Ronaldo Chopped the other. A great goal nonetheless! :D

But it doesn't represent how the formation plays if you aren't on Ultra Defensive.

Yeah, if I switch to Ultra Defensive then everyones back - but when not the LB & RB are both Wingers and more often than not past the half way line coming forward providing options for Cambiasso/De Rossi.

Cambiasso and De Rossi both come forward quite a lot, they don't sit that far back, Cambiasso sits further back than De Rossi most of the time.

They are both good at going forwards and going back, I don't have a big gap between CF - CDM/Defence - it all links up nicely.

But hey, there's been this discussion before and the majority vote was 'lol 5 at the back cheap' - apart from Andy who agreed with me from what I remember that you usually end up with 3 back there.
