*** The Official FIFA 13 Thread ***

It has (along with other aspects of the game) driven me away from fifa in the past 2 years. I can't just play multiplayer with friends, always has to be ultimate team

Ditto.

Seperate threads would be good come release time. UT is big enough here to carry its own thread. Then the rest of us can talk about the other side of the game without wading through pages of UT stuff.

The FIFA thread is there for anyone to participate in, I'd say 99% play UT and are the only ones that post. I would end up merging the two before Christmas I bet. Even the separate club threads die after a month or so.

I wouldn't refer to 'lower rated star' teams if I was talking about Ultimate Team, would I?

For someone that played UT quite a bit I'd of thought would know UT teams are starred too :p

In regards to the first point - everything just gets swallowed up by UT discussion, that's why there isn't any other discussion. I saw countless times people trying to talk about career or another mode and it just got ignored and swamped by UT, it alienates quite a lot of people.

I have tried a few times to post about things but never got anywhere because it's just off putting for people having to read loads of UT talk and nothing but being discussed.

People have even expressed in this thread that very type of thing. Of course, it won't be as active as the UT thread because that's what so many people on here play but for others that don't it is a pain because anything else you want to discuss gets swallowed up by UT talk.

Second point - I don't pay that much attention to it when I play but it's generally speaking more obviously not about UT :p

I never knew you played the other mode tbh, whenever you've messaged me on Messenger it's about UT :p

I don't mind there being separate threads but if one just becomes redundant (which it will) I'll merge them.

But even on the 360 I've never seen you play anything other than UT :p

I played over 100 ranked matches and I know Tim and Dan played lots of matches away from UT, they ain't crying about separate threads ;)

Then you don't pay enough attention to my profile :p, I've done probably about 15 seasons of Career mode at least, probably more and if I'm not in that then it's playing friends online.

Rarely play Ultimate Team! :)

Other people have said it in this thread too, not just me. People have posted questions frequently in that thread only to be ignored because it wasn't about Ultimate Team.

There are about a group of 10 or so posters that keep that thread alive and kicking, there are already a few on this page that have expressed an interest for a separate thread because it puts them off.

It's not hard to have two separate threads - people then don't have to go through pages and pages of stuff they don't want to read and aren't interested in.

I'm not fussed, I just not what the end outcome will be.

When UT is released a thread will be created and all none UT FIFA stuff can be discussed for a month or so ;)

Also for the record rarely was their questions asked that weren't answered in relation to none UT, the fact is there isn't much to discuss away from UT hence not many people participating in the thread.

Go have a juice box. Who flipping knows if the stats will be anywhere near that or not.

I just came across that site and thought I'd post some stats.
LOL then stop posting rubbish and inferring its anything but that - I know you are excited about FIFA13 but the vast majority of us would appreciate useful information over misinformation. Quality over quantity comes to mind...

Yeah Im annoyed by the insinuation that we ignored non-UT questions, Ive gone out of my way when I see noobs asking FIFA questions to answer them. Im sorry to the people that dont play UT, you really need to put more effort into the thread rather than have a go at people who play UT that actively participate in the discussion

ps3ud0

Tbh, I'd really like separate threads, I feel the need to discuss normal FIFA a lot of the time and just can't get a word in with all the talk of UT so I just join in with that, I don't even play UT.

Seriously? C'mon, by the time UT is out (release) no ne talks about normal FIFA much, there's not really a massive amount to discuss, the main fundamentals of the game and the normal gameplay are the tugs we critique during the demo.

Someone saying "I quite enjoy playing as Santos in ranked matches, Neymar is very good" can only go on for so long :o

If I was serious, i would punch myself :)

vanilla FIFA is good and all for. A laugh every ne and then, but at the end of the day, there's not really much you can say about it, diversity in squads, players & additions of IFs etc in UT is what maks the game discussion worthy post release,

A typical and boring response from the same people as usual, sigh.

Nevermind what others have already said.

Enjoy the FUT discussion :)
