Can we get back on topic here?

I was thinking, since we now have to buy Fifa points, this means we can buy Fifa points and buy packs on the web app. The market is going to be flooded before the game is even out.

Thats if you can buy these Fifa points without needing the game. Maybe from the EA store?

How is talking about the clubs mode 'off topic'? :confused:
 
because it isn't UT and to a lot of people here it seems to be all that fifa is about. To me i couldn't really care less about UT as it is a giant money sink unless you want to spend endless hours trawling through looking for bargains to sell on. I want to play football not be a wheeler dealer and still then come up against some 13 year old who has daddy's credit card and got a team full of IF's ;P

Yeah pretty much with clubs once you had a maxed out VP GK you could just hold down one button if you had full assists on to do all the saving for you.

It seems this year they have made VP saves server-side so that you cant as easily hack them and that full assists arent available to VP GKs (not sure if that depends on what Clubs gametype you are playing)

The changes are in the right direction but really its a bit to little, too late, especially as you still have that obstacle to get your AI up to a standard where they arent more than useless...

I think part of it would be getting in at the start and getting the team up to speed quickly so that you didn't come up against teams of AI far better than you.

Public games of Clubs were absolutely pointless as you'd just have everyone be running at the goal trying to score all the time and it was dreadful.

People also seemed to lose interest in it quite easily on XBOX which was a shame.

Think you'll find that talking about clubs and potential improvement to this game mode, is entirely on topic.
 
Haha no not pre-ordering it just going to buy it on the day maybe :p

I do say it every year but this year will be the last if its the same old, Did it with CoD don't mind doing it with FIFA either :D

I do hold some kind of hope they have sorted it out a little! :D

I'm pretty sure another addition in Fifa 13 is allowing you to choose whether or not you want to go up against another team with a human GK which is pretty sweet :).

I fully expect you to make a thread for PS3 Clubs nearer the release date :p.
 
still think this buying points then buying ea points to buy packs is a way of trying to stop the buying coins scam and stuff

this year was my first for fifa 12 what happens when 13 comes out regards ut

do you have to set up another account then link it to get bonus packs early or do you need the game

hoping they get rid of that stupid snow pitch where its so bright you cant see anything

You'll start from the beginning again, you'll have an amazing starter pack comprised of South Koreans and players from the 2. Bundesliga who you've never even heard of. You'll also have two of the worst kits imaginable, an orange football that looks like one of those £1.00 flyaway ones from a garage and you'll probably be playing home games at Aloha Park.

Its actually the golden age of FUT, that!

Thing is, when I had my initial bronze team, they seemed to TRY so much, some of the goals they scored I have never seen the animations of since, real stretches, long sliding shots, its just stuff I've not seen since my team got better.

But you'll always love your first Ronaldo :D

Saddest thing this year will be no Roberto Carlos, probably the most complete and best all round player in FUT 12.
