*** The Official FIFA 13 Thread ***

According to various websites the 360 version should either be available now or very shortly and the ps3 version between 10pm and 2am!
 
Seems the same to me, which means my run of buying every FIFA since 08 is now over. I don't see anything in there that would disappoint or change the mind of anyone that was already happy with how FIFA plays these days, but of course that also means for anyone like me that wasn't happy with it, there's nothing in there to change my mind either.

Nothing new? Just by watching the videos it looks so different to me.

Which it will do. You have to realise my perspective is slightly different, I'm not in a position to appreciate the subtle but significant differences that will be plainly obvious to anyone that's put a lot of time in with FIFA 12.

I really liked 08, expected to like 09 as much, but didn't, and since have bought 10,11 and 12 in the hope I would come round to it. I'm not going to keep buying the game in the hope I will eventually like it, when at this point I know that is unlikely, and even if I did, there's no way I would prefer it to Pro Evo. So of course I do accept that the differences are there, but for me they aren't so visable against the core game that I still see, and still don't enjoy.

Anyway, I'll be done with the FIFA thread now, nobody wants to hear me ****ging off the game, although I'd not do that anyway, enough people do enjoy the game that I accept it's purely a matter of taste, i.e. you lot don't have any :p.

I've only played 5 matches so far, so perhaps there are more changes that I haven't picked up on yet but in my limited time with the demo I agree that they've changed stuff, whether they've actually changed everything I don't know, I'm not sure they have going on my admittedly limited play time. I've noticed there's some new animations, the ball travels much more smoothly and the impact engine feels more complete than it did in 12. Other than that so far my demo matches have been virtually the same as in FIFA 12, I did like the minigame before the match though. :)
