Specifics into why you don't like it and what you don't like etc would be interesting.
Im sure you can go into specifics why the demo doesnt float your boat or why it hasnt addressed issues youve seen in previous iterations. Its not like people on here arent voicing similar points, just that they arent all negative, like yours likely are...

Ok, you asked for it

I will try to keep this from being Pro Evo vs FIFA, because I wouldn't enjoy FIFA regardless of what Pro Evo was doing, but that is my bar so it is bound to come up occasionally.
Go back to 2008, Pro Evo is ****, FIFA is decent, but not just decent compared to how poor Pro Evo had gone, FIFA 08 was a genuinely quality football game for many of the same reasons as Konami's football game used to be. A few of us here were playing it (Nokkon, Andybtsn, others I'm sure) and it was slowly dawning on us that we weren't just playing it because Pro Evo was so poor, FIFA had actually become a really good game of football. No more silly overhead kicks with every cross, no more players moving like robots, no more one particular goal defeats all. It plays like Pro Evo used to, every game is different, the passing was excellent, the control you have over your players was near perfect, the shooting was extremely fun, long shots were like rockets and they added the finesse shot which was an extremely clever addition (so clever that PES has now done the sensible thing and stolen it). In short it was great and it really looked like EA were onto something.
Then 09 comes out, and it is quite similar, I put many hours into it but don't actually know why it wasn't quite what I was expecting, maybe I've just been spoilt by Pro Evo over the years being clearly better with each version, despite the previous game always feeling perfect at the time.
So I do the same with 10, 11 and 12, I buy them and put a good 20+ hours into each, but I've gone from expecting greatness, to hoping. I play some online, but to me a great footie game is one I can play against the cpu (tournaments, leagues etc) over and over again, and never get bored. But I do get bored with FIFA, and quicker each time. I do probably 3 seasons of manager mode on 10, maybe 2 on 11, and I don't know if I even completed a season at all on 12, I sold it within 2 days on the 360, then for some reason thought buying the pc version would be a great idea.
It's basically never enjoyable to me, the number one reason for this I think is the feel of the players. The passing is fine, the shooting, while I don't enjoy it, I could obviously get used to it. This is never going to happen though when every player feels like an absolute tank to move, movement is slow and laboured, sprinting doesn't really feel like sprinting, so much so that the best way to make space for yourself is to spam skill moves. Every turn, every slight movement feels like I'm having to take into account a set of animations that are going to take place before the man goes where I want him to. This I'm sure happens in every modern football game, the days of old where players could turn 90 degrees in an instant are long gone, and for the better. Pro Evo has these animations, I'm sure FIFA 08 did too, the difference with the new versions of FIFA is that I actually notice them, it's never intuitive, it never just happens without thinking, which it needs to in order to really feel like you have full control over what's happeening.
A great footie game you enjoy every moment of every match, no part of it is a chore. But it doesn't take that to be a fun game, Virtua Striker was a terrible football game, but the goals you could score were spectacular, which was enough to make the game fun to play. FIFA doesn't have that one aspect that will make me tolerate the rest. Presentation wise, it's flawless, in terms of modes second to none, I really can't fault any part of the game up until the whiste goes for kick off, but that is where it matters for me.
I do accept that it is a good game, and fans will probably read that and wonder what game I'm on about, cos it can't be the one they enjoy so much, but that's as best as I can describe how I view the game and why. As I said above, I'm at the point where I wouldn't enjoy FIFA with no competition, but to do the direct comparison with PES 2013 just this once, every single area that matters, I prefer in Pro Evo again.
