Agree, I've tried having a box-to-box, a true CDM and a playmaker but I always go back to 2 B2B and the CDM in the middle. The value of a slightly better pass / dribble is nowhere near the value of a 6'2 powerhouse like Can that can run for days, wins headers and wins tackles.

You can have (and I did have) both for most of this Fifa and they served me well, although I actually preferred Smalling over Keane who I found a bit too cumbersome and lacking the height of Smalling.

Realistically Butland is great for the price but he's not a De Gea or a Neuer.

Boateng is much better than Keane / Smalling etc., he's just stronger, better in the air and at tackling and a much better ball player.

edit: and Alaba is much better than any LB I've used in the prem which is all but Alonso's TOTS but I have his 85 and it's utter garbage, turns like the post-impact Titanic!
 
Really fallen out of love with the game this week, probably won 10 out of my last 40 games. Play Divisions and I'm division 1 so its nothing but great players, play friendlies and its nothing but great players... theres just nothing enjoyable to do atm.
 
Eriksen and orange asensio? Were best players.

Everything else went straight into SBCs, best pull was tots baumann and tots pavon who will go into the tradable one.
 
got a brazilian RB for my tots player, will go in my brazil fitness side.
TOTS Kane is on 34 goals in 34 games which for me is quite prolific.
 
This is my last proper weekend league for this year's game. I get elite monthly and I'll be happy to enjoy and try more new players and teams without taking it seriously. I really want Ronaldo back, might go for Ronaldo SBC Suarez Messi attack (not used Messi this year) and see what my money can make me..
 
Anybody tried TOTS Hazard? I'm thinking of dropping Mertens, don't know why but I just don't find him convincing. Hazard with that extra height and strength is tempting. I can screw around with the team to get him on full chem and then just change things around in game.
 
W8 L3 today, one loss I was thrashed, other two I was the superior player but the game didn't go my way.

Away until Sunday evening now :( Probably be chasing that Silver 1 on my return.
