Is Costa better than Lukaku?

Nah Lukaku is the best! Certainly this weekend :p

Also AirJapes has been banging on about 3-4-2-1 formation with Italians custom tactics...I've played about 30 games with it now really really good. If I could finish I'd won the majority of the 30 games! I've linked to the episode about it in case anyone is interested.

Not keen on slow build up which I presume is what those custom tactics are about?

More to do with setting the defence further back to counter the counter attack if that makes sense. In case you're interested from the top :-

With outside mids set to stay out wide and come back to defend
Cm's Conservative interceptions and one set to stay back.

Give it a bash in game nothing to lose as if you run 433(4) most of the players can be shoehorned.

I think we play completely different diva as that was awful for one half, I was losing 1-0 and getting dominated. I had to change it back to 433 at HT!

I won 2-1! You just make me fail posting custom tactics :p

Someone just absolutely hammered me, his players were all over the place, I couldn't cope. Messaged him after asking if he was using custom tactics and he wasn't, I wonder if they make much difference...

Anyone else used IF aspas? Just grabbed him for 28K used him for 15 games and hes one of the best strikers ive used so far ended up buying IF orellana so i could hybrid him into 4321 and hes one of the best RW ive used aswel fairly cheap aswel.

Yeah I wish I'd never participated in this weekend league, far to many insufferable *****.

I'm completely out of my depth playing these people in this league.

Against my better judgement I decided to spend 40 notes on this game - first impression is "Wow!!!" - I absolutely love how they have managed to make the single player into absolutely the most infuriating game on the PS4! :D

I just don't understand why they think that massively handicapping your players by making them all as skillful as Emile Heskey is a good idea!?!? - I'd have thought that a "game" developer's aim would have been to make their product at least a little fun!

Just lost a career game on Pro difficulty 1-nil having had 23 shots on target to the other teams one (including hitting the crossbar with an open goal to shoot at in proper Ronnie Rosenthal style!)

I'm sad for this game. :(

I'd play the Journey really good game, then crack on with FUT :D

You're not dude, I always start with a losing streak too.

Generally everybody starts with the same MMR (match making rating) - top players win their early games and their MMR gos up so they get matched against eachother. Normal players win some lose some, MMR adjusts accordingly. After about 5 games you should find you're being matched against people of similar ability.

It is sweaty, its do anything to win, its stressful, but its rewarding and in my opinion it'll make you a better player.

If a guy like me who has never won Division 1, and couldn't even get higher than Division 3 with a team worth around 4 million coins in FIFA 16 can get a .50 win ratio, anybody can achieve a decent result.

Couldn't echo the above more, I found it quite stressful but strangely enjoyable. My packs got me the grand some of **** all. One thing is certain does make you a better player or at the very least aware of some new tactics to try.

I'm still standing by my 3421 formation:D

Playing against better players definitely improves your play, it's just a case of whether you can be bothered to play through the drubbings where you don't create anything all game and they're pretty unenjoyable.

Yeah when you get into higher leagues even formation doesn't make much difference when it comes to chance creation. That's when the game becomes a chore, so really lower leagues are better for fun factor or online friendlies.

Yup, I usually slug out Seasons until I hit a wall then just play the cups / single matches. I put some money in at the start of the game so after a couple of months the amount of coins you're not getting for playing Seasons is relatively nominal.

I'm missing a lot of chances at the moment, my shot choice just seems to be off. Anybody have a particular guide they can recommend?
