I'd stay well clear of the PC version, so many issues with "hacks" in Fifa 16, if they remain for 17 it'll almost certainly ruin FUT Champions.

Considering it must make EA a ridiculous amount of money they are very lazy when it comes to implementing new ideas for it. It's stale, the only good thing about 15 was at least you could buy coins and get the better players, in 16 they even got rid of that ability. Seasons and gold tourney's have been played to death.
New ideas please, EA.
 
I'd like to see them make it less restrictive on the teams you can make but after they found that chemistry **** up you could play pretty much anyone in your team anyway.

There are some new ideas in 17 :)
 
Squad Building Contest - there are challenges (weekly? monthly? no idea) to build particular squads. For example you might be challenged to build a 3 League 3 Nation 100 chem team with Dempsey up front and you can only do this with players from your club. Once you have sucessfully done this, you submit the squad and the players are removed from your club and you get a reward. The reward will be anything from a special pack to a special player.

FUT Champions - daily tournaments Monday to Thursday to get you into the weekend league, you only need to win it once and you're in. Once in the weekend league you have 40 games to play, with scaling rewards depending on how many of those games you win. Rewards we've seen so far are insane, so they will either be toned down or prepare for sweatiest most angst filled try-hard FIFA you've ever seen in your life. Having said that even if you only win 15 of the 40 the reward is still pretty damn good. I do worry that its going to make the better FIFA players untouchable though - an average player like me can compete at the moment by throwing buckets of money at the game and having a team better than most peoples. With the rewards in this tournament I think I'm going to be behind the curve, and FIFA will not be fun this year.

We also go into depth about some of the issues that plagued the FUT 16 experience, including the deadly fog, OP interceptions, and what eventually became 'La Liga Draft'.

That said, there was lots to savour too and we'll run through what we liked that we hope returns for FIFA 17.
