Isn't it meant to be the other way round though? So you could vote for the national team players but not any players in your own team?

Does anybody have any methods of preventing goals? My current tactics aren't bad, just drew 0-0 with mboro dominating the game, 28 shots on target. but generally i concede a huge amount of goals. (most clean sheets in a row is 2)

Have you tried any of the tactics on the first page of the thread? Are you getting your defenders to close down? Are they on a high or low defensive line?

Tight marking, full backs always close down, cb own area only. defensive line fairly deep, I'm current league champions, but concede about 10 more goals per season than other top 4 teams

Bump... Hello, I've played a bit of the 09 demo but the injuries are sort of annoying me. So i'm back to 08 I want a challenge. Nothing too hard i'm not the best on FM my current game i've got Bury to the championship in 3 seasons and we've finished a few places above the relegation zone. Thats my sort of level I suppose.

I've never done a league abroad and only did a few games with Denmark internationally. Does anyone have a decent challenge that I could do? Thanks

I play almost everyone, i have a "best 11" but i rotate and try to please everyone ?
We've not lost in like... 160 odd games?

I honestly don't know why moral is so high, My other game (sheffield wednesday) have mixed moral and i don't really understand it.

A fairly useful tool if you get incredibly bored like me, lets me edit the FM database on the fly...

The last time i did it, i gave every team in league two 100m to spend each and left 'go on holiday' on over night, wanted to find out who would be the first to get promoted

I gave either aston villa or tottenham £500,000,000 to spend - in 4 seasons they managed to bankrupt themselves, its quite funny really.

Can also use it to inspire (all superb) and heal (all full health) every player in your squad.

No fun using it on an actual game though, it makes it too easy.

im guessing he uses the corner routine and has zigic as the man at the near post or attacking the near post tbh
