Liverpool consider Benitez's future.
The Liverpool board are contemplating whether or not to offer Rafa Benitez an extension to his current deal.
Sources within the club have stated that club officals have already discussed possible replacements should they decide not to offer their current boss a contract extension.
Pundits in the media are already speculating that high-profile manager ##BoomAM## could be tempted to quit Milan for New Anfield.
A host of other top-class managers are also being linked with the post including Javier Irureta, Hristo Stoichkov and Stuart Pearce.

Odd story considering they just beat me in the 1st leg of the CL at their place 1-0. :p.

Now this story:
##BoomAM## could never leave Milan.
Milan chiefs are worried that they may lose ##BoomAM## when his contract is up at the end of the season.
It is belived that they are preparing to open discussions with ##BoomAM## as soon as the season finishes but are making contingency plans in case he decides to leave.
Pundits in the media are already speculating that manager Javier Irueta could be tempted to take over the reins at San Siro is the offer is right.
Other managers such as Pierluigi Casiraghi and Gionvanni De Biasi are also being linked with the Milan hot seat.

This is amusing, ive never been linked with other club jobs in FM games. Loads of national posts though. :p.
 
Anyone got any idea on this:
Ive just been made Italy manager, so ive re-done the national team squad.
Every player calls up fine. But when i call up my wonderkid striker, Bonini, the Milan team screen says he's unavailable due to international duty, yet theres no international games being played?

Ideas?

Check to make sure he's not in U-18 or 21 squads.

Im on holiday when it comes out.
So i miss the new SP album, RA3 & the FM demo! :(.

I think i'll wait for the full 09 anyway.:P.
Too interested in my current 08 game, want to see how my 5 wonderkids turn out...:p.
 
Snow Patrol and Red Alert 3?

Have to say I'm amazed demo isn't out now or before November 1st. The full game is out on November 14th so that is 12 days to try the demo before the game. Surely we've had at least 3 weeks demo time before the game release in the past? Or am I getting old and not remembering things right? :(:confused:

Gives me 3 days to prepare myself for its launch!. lol.

Still having problems with Bonini and the national team.
It says that he's got a 1 match international ban, but ive just played him internationally, and he's still 'with the italy squad' according to his milan page!?.

Played him in a second game, he got his 1st & 2nd goals for Italy, now he's back at Milan training like the rest!? lol.
I really want to see how Bonini turns out before 09....

Three days? What on earth could you need three days to prepare for FM09? :p

So you managed to get him to play for the full Italy team? What is the problem? Can't get him back to Milan? :confused:

Problem was that i called him up, but then he'd always appear as 'with the Italy team' regardless of what matches were coming up, so i couldnt play him for Milan at all.
Just played him for 2 games for Italy, and now it appears to have fixed itself! :).
 
I can't believe they haven't fixed the bug where if you are in charge of a national team and a club team then you can't vote for any of that nations players at the world player of the year awards yet you can vote for your own club players.

Never seen that bug.
The only players i couldnt vote for are those who were in my teams.

So I'd have to manage a country and have some of that country's players at my club? I managed the Czech Republic and Man Utd so no cross over there.
