Yes.
See what scores your coaches have and then assign them to coaching in what they are good at. So a coach with 18+ for fitness coaching could do either strength or aerobic coaching, or both if you had two decent coaches, but it would make sense to have one coach on strength and the other on aerobics.
So just carry on with all the coaches and assign them to their best area. You should try and make sure that the workload for each coach isn't too high and that each coaching skill has a high star count, representing a high quality of coaching.
Paste a screenshot of your training assignments if you want and I'll help. Or perhaps add me to MSN and send me screenshots of all your coaches so I can say where they should coach.
If you have a coach who can excel in more than one kind of coaching then perhaps get him to do what you find is a lower star rating coaching.
Or if you have too many to use, sack 'em!

Long term yes. Having one coach who is say 18 or 19 for his coaching area will be a much better coach than someone who is 14 or 15.

What he said.Shouldnt have to no, as your save game will store your current database, the starting ones are just templates.
Although, just to be sure, just copy your entire SI folder in your my documents across. That way you'll be guaranteed on getting everything. Saves, databases, tactics, schedules, facepacks, settings, etc;
It shouldn't really matter although you won't be able to start a new game using that db.
It'll be an entire folder. Probably in your My Documents. Might as well copy the whole Sports Interactive folder over.
