i only ever have 2 strikers in my sqauad. as i only play with one up front, strikers cost the most and seem to get unhappy quick. i have a main striker and a rotator, i just play one of my many AM up front if need be

can someone give my tactics a try? just started my 3rd season and my CB banged in 3 from conrners

If I remember I will give it a try tonight. At the moment I am happy with my tactic for PSG, but might give it a go if things start to go pear shaped, although I do have another save game somewhere that I haven't touched in a while so could use that as a guinea pig.

My next aim is to create a new game with full England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Holland leagues are holiday mode the first 2/3 seasons before starting out. Could be an interesting and slightly harder game then. If, and when I get round to doing it, would anyone be interested in a copy of the save to take a stab at?

Thanks for the replies. I mainly stick to two formations that i rotate - depending on the opposition or performance. I started the season with a 4 1 3 2 formation. Had Aguero on the left and RVP on the right and they were very consistent and effective together.

At the december/January mark my tactics did not seem as affective - although i was still winning. So i changed to a 4 1 3 1 1 formation, using Aguero as the the lone striker, and sometimes RVP on the right wing pushing up for support.

I suppose it helps if you give players more time to adjust to positions and rotations. Saivet was too much of a risk for me to play in the first team because of his age and inexperience, so i limit him to easy games and stick him in the reserves. As for Fred, he scored twice on his debut and now its abit hit and miss with him. Eduardo however, when hes been called on he has delivered - and sometimes in style!

I think i may have answered my earlier question. I think Fred has gotta go!;)

Indeed it does, and also there was no mention there of where Walcott fits into your plans, so could be a call for him to pack his bags and move on also. Saivet will come good, just get him tutored by one of your more senior frontmen and watch him get better.

I always find that after a couple of seasons Liverpool are the ones who struggle in my games, they were relegated in the 3rd season of one of my previous saves.

Any chance of a screenie of your current squad?

From previous games, Spurs are always the first noticable club that drops from the Premiership.

Liverpool drop off the pace very quickly and are currently around 12th/13th/14th in the League (2015ish now), Arsenal keep up the pace but drop off, Man United hardly buy anybody big and use youth players a lot... roughly keeping up the pace.

Southampton and Newcastle are the two most unlikely Premiership contenders.

Newcastle finishing 3rd for about 2 or 3 years running now, Southampton look to be edging into the top 4 or 5 sides.

Swansea (me) have won the Premiership for 3 years running, and I'm currently untouchable.

I'm just hoping I can get all my data over from my borked water cooling pc experiment :o

[ASSE]Hinchy, you have inspired me to try a game from Conference South so ive decided to select my local team, Sutton Utd, and will make sure i get them to the premiership!

They will one day have Cristiano Ronaldo, even if hes 36, thats my aim :p.

Just been offered the Czech Republic job, but turned it down. I saved the game at that point so i could go back and try it. What happens when you accept to join an international team? Obviously you have to leave your current club :( but i want to be able to return to my orignal team (or whats left of it)

No, you can do club/international.

I managed Man Utd & Czech in one game, and Fulham and Czech in another, i like the Czech squad.

Currently using this tactic, but sometimes a DM instead of an MC.

Have scored in every game, and only conceded two goals since using this tactic.

Heh, you can add an extra AMC, to make it 3 if needed.

I sometimes make it similar to that, but 3-2-3-2, that can work too. But the above one normally does well :).

Just drew wit Macclesfield in FA Cup :D.
