Well I've made it to the quarters of the Champions League. Not won the Prem yet no. My board expected it by the end of next season....
League form has dropped again and the best I can hope for this season is 3rd. Disappointing season indeed.

Huge. Leagues from England, Scotland, France, Germany and Italy normally. Down to normally 3rd/4th league down.
But I also include all players from Brazil and Argentina so I can scout out good prospects over there.

Grr! I hate it when chairman accepts it on your behalf!
Theres a young guy i have, worth £1k, who was attracting a lot of clubs, and having offers of £10-20k for him, but i kept rejecting them, the chairman just automatically accepted £1k for him!.
you money must ahve dropped if he took 1k
Balance = £365k, which for Blue Square Premier is good!
Profit = £37.16k, which is also very good!

Ah well. Onwards and upwards.
I think i just watched the best match ever, probably because I wasnt involved I was just watching english players (being national manager). It was Champions League Final!!! Liverpool vs Man Utd.
Here are the final screens i couldnt believe it myself while watching!:
Man Utd DOMINATED play however Liverpool had a rock solid defense later in the game real tight and 97% tackle success rate :O Liverpool edged back later in the game sneaking 2 goals either side of half time to level the game 2-2. Extra time came and went with both sides playing attacking football. Then it came PENALTIESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! WHOOOP WHOOP. First shoot out i've seen on FM so it was great lol and the result is as follows:
Man Utd finished 3rd in the league with none other than yours truly being touted as the replacement for Sir Alex!!

Usually huge db with England (League 2) Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Holland all down to their League 2 equivalent.
Ive been tempted to start again as Milan with the 8.0.2 patch, and gut the entire team bar a few players.
Problem is, that with the AI unwilling to shell out any decent money for players over 28, coupled with a paltry £30m possible budget, its extremly hard to do.
Depending on the formation that i'd want to play, thats at least 5 top players i'd have to buy.

.I wasnt able to sell Rio Ferdinand, Kaka or Robinho no matter how much i offered at one stage.

True. I often can't sell medium players even when I offer them for nothing. Yet when I make bids on other players I have to pay silly money for them.
Were they still of a decent age?

Hmm they should all have been snapped up.
