So, would you advise not installing the 4.0.4 update if offered or by trying forcing the update to come through at the moment?

After installing it do another restart. I've had zero problems since. I was someone who had no issues with the first 4.0.4 update.

well the 404 has a signal bug issue, but lots of people seem fine with it. then they rolled out a minor upgrade to the 404 and this has fixed for some and broke for others.

i don't know what to advise really, bit of a shambells tbh.

Possibly a silly question, how are you all on version 4.0.4?

I'm on a UK Vodafone contract and according to my settings / system update function version 4.02 is the latest???

Should I stick on this version or somehow pursue an update?

im using that now sim, i still get the bug but not as bad, i set lightflow to beep a sound when signal goes, and it happens 3 or 4 times a day at random places, however it does come back quicker... still a poor show if you suffer from the bug

Sometimes when I wake my phone up, it won't recognise me using the touch screen so I can't get past the lock screen. This is only very occasionally, and usually either messing around with the buttons works, if not pulling the battery is required.

Has anyone else had this?

I'm on the stock 4.0.2

Hmm, since installing 4.04 (all auto updates, no custom firmware etc), my auto-brightness always seems to be on max brightness.

Edit, actually it just behaves differently, seems to be auto-dimming in darkness ok

i use an app and flick between 25% and 50% depending on where i am
