***** The Official Galaxy Nexus Thread *****

the only problem i've had with my Gnex since December is lag on the standard keyboard in landscape, i think that was on 4.0.1.

so i changed to smart keyboard pro, as i used it on my desire, no other problems.

I'm on T-Mobile.

Are you guys with signal problems with one of the providers that originally had problems on the Gnex when it came out, by any chance?

yeah i was one of them, i wonder if it is faulty, anyway quite pleased, 3 day repair and then it will be replaced, so i guess by this time next week i will either have a fixed phone or a brand new one.

I am on Vodafone, but got the phone after the issues were sorted.

As mentioned previously, I have not had any issues with the handest until the last update.

On Vodafone also, no problems apart from slight lag which has now been ironed out with the updates.

Although I do feel fortunate to be in the position whereby I'm on a 12 month contract, will be interesting to see how it pans out around renewal time, no way will I get such a fortunate deal again :(

phone went off for repair today.... i'm 100% sure they will simply wipe the phone and stick factory 402 on..... so i combated that issue with a post'it note stuck on the screen

"please don't simply factory reset this phone with a stock image and then send it back - i have tried that!"

I think I broke my Nexus ...
had a small accident with tea at work... but thought nothing went to phone itself as I quickly opened it, and dried out with hand towel...phone was working fine..now decided to charge it and it wont charge : /

dunno what to do....I bet it would be a pricey repair :/

left it connected to usb trying to think what can be done....Ive heard sound in windows of detected usb device...was happy for a second thinking that it could be it, it fixed itself...I was wrong...i disconnected it and smelled something burning...touched end of micro usb and it was burning hot...not good...not good....
anyone wants replacement screen?? :/
