Just put 4.3 on my original and what a difference, all the stuttering gone, much smoother, feels like a new device

I wonder how much of that is to do with a clean install?

Probably quite a lot, i have wiped back to 4.2.2 a few times and after a few days it snarls up again quite quickly, will see if this goes the same way

I fancy one of these for travelling from home to work as my journey time is going to increase soon to 1-1:30 Hours soon.

My only concern is that the hardware can drive that panel, it was an issue with the Nexus 10 and I didn't buy one due to that.

Seems its been confirmed for a Sept release in the UK.... thats ages away!
I wanted one to replace my iPad for my holiday in August!

Sept ?! Sept 13 is a bit of a slap in the face isn't it - thats 6 weeks after launch

new Ipad Mini etc might be out by then ...

It's not the hardware that is the problem but the OS. I was hoping they would release a new version of Android written from the ground up to not be clunky, but it will suffer the same fate as all Android devices with stuttering graphics and poor performance until they rewrite the OS to be better optimised from the ground up.
