**** The Official Google Pixel 3 Thread ****

My reg 3 battery life exceeds 5hours screen on can't complain really. I always expect 5hr SOT. Not got no speaker rattle either, speakers sound great for the most part.
 
My 3XL seems to last ages compared my quite new S8+. I'll get home from work and have an easy 75% or so battery life remaining. My S8+ was struggling to be above about 55/60%.

Wonder what's up with mine. On the weekend I spent most of the time on WiFi and it lasted a lot longer. Maybe not using WiFi at work is something to do with it.

I don't use WiFi at work at all due to the terrible connection quality at my desk. Do you have any rogue apps eating the battery perhaps?
 
I'm not sure what I'll do with this yet, but a question I might need to know the answer too... I have a small nick/mark on one corner. What happens if I send it back to Google for a refund? Do they thoroughly check them all? Could they send it back to me and refuse the refund as it's not 'as new' now?

Email from Voda this morning, still back-ordered. I'm half expecting it around the 20th at this point, anything sooner is a bonus :rolleyes:

If you changed network, could be poor signal? I always get terrible battery life at home as there's barely any signal.
 
got my 3 on Saturday pretty happy it does everything my pixel 1 did but a bit quicker, a couple of apps are broken though. netflix doesn't stay active in the quick access so I actually have to open the damned app to skip the countdown.

Went ahead and bought the pixel 3 official case because I didn't want one to interfere with wireless charging, case is light and easy to grip not sure I'd want to get it wet though, but then again not sure I want to get my phone wet intentionally either :D

overall I'm happy interface has improved massively over the pixel 1 and not having to say hey/ok google is a bonus when I want to actually use the feature.

No, but if he said, I don't need it, what would you say the value is with the damage, I would work something out. I'm asking what do Google do...

As it is, if they don't take them back, I will just need to sell at lower price. It's not a big mark, I don't think most will mind.

Down to 60% already.

I've exchanged it for another one from cpw. If it's the same then I'll swap to the 6t.

Its my biggest bug bear with my 2XL... battery is poor. Turning off all of googles location stuff makes it much better... but then you lose some of the main convenience features...

Just resorted to a small battery pack i keep in my other pocket... sad really
 
Really enjoying my Pixel 3. I was previously an iPhone user.

I'm getting about 5hours screen on time which is easily lasting me a full day. Very fast and responsive. I went for not pink and really like it in person.

Only complaints so far as the lack of notification LED and the fingerprint scanner seems very fussy if you move you finger even a tiny bit too quickly. The iPhone scanner was definitely quicker. But then I do like the notification gestures on the back.

The camera is simply mind blowing. I've installed the night sight APK and the results are hard to believe. It picks out more detail than my eyes in some situations!

Overall very impressed with it. Haven't encountered any memory issues or apps force closing.

My 2xl had great battery life.
