Hi,

Thought I would start a thread about the Gskill HZ ram.

What clocks, voltages and timings are you running.

At the moment I am running 260mhz at stock voltages and timings currently tweaking my opteron 170.

would be interesting to know what other people were running:)

Thanks for your input. :)

Well i run 264x11 so i got the HZ kit hoping to run 1:1 unfortunately after much tweaking, testing and gnashing of teeth they wouldn't do it.

So i switched to a 166 divider (207Mhz) and the best i could get was 2.5 3 3 7 @ 2.7v

Keeping the same divider i ran 290x10 (241Mhz) stable at 3 4 3 8 @ 2.7v

Obviously not the best HZ kit and im currently in the process of exchanging them for the ZX kit. If the ZX doesn't clock well at least i'll be able to run 264x11/166 with decent timings :)

running HZ 254 , 180 divider @ 2.7v 3-4-4-8, dfi expert.
170 opteron 280 x 10
tried running 1.1 with no joy, but have'nt tweeked to find max mhz. will do when i get time.
for now i'am happy with it ;)

Great setup there m8....i've got an Opty 170 coming this week too :)
What stepping do you have ?
How are you finding this setup with the HZ....is it totally game stable?
I have some on order and will place results here.

Here are my results so far. I'm gonna do more testing but so far so good, I had to use a divider because I care more about cpu mhz than anything else=)

I have some priming now @260 3-4-3-7 2.55v they key to this RAM is LOW volts I get less errors in memtest @2.5v than @2.7v.

Everyone try lowering the voltage you might be pleasantly surprised.

have you tried taking them higher?

I have had them to 272 @3-4-4-8 timings that might not be the rams max but it's as far as I can get with my X2 4400 with 1.5v I don't like putting too much voltage through anything if I can help it, if I get time I'll lower my multi and see how far I can get and post back problem is leaving it long enough priming to make sure it's stable.

Second thoughts I'll do it now and post back soon. :D

Here's some results I'm @280MHz @3-4-4-8 2.6v memtest stable for 5 10 passes of test 5 so that's very good up to yet I will try for more though.

That's pretty impressive 30MHz over the spec it's sold at this set could have been sold as DDR440 I'm sure, it would be interesting if other people posted their results is mine normal or a special lucky set?

280 mhz is fantastic news.
gonna push mine later :)

Im running at 259 at the moment on a /11 divider. I cant get mine to run 1:1 @ 2850 so for a test i lowered my cpu speed to 2750 and it ran super_pi fine. Ia lso tried 2800 and it failed.

It seems more stable on 2.6v than on 2.7v which is the max for my mobo.

Im waiting on a 165 and 170 duel core and Im hoping to clock them up to 2750 :)
