Can you guys tell me what timings yours has listed in the SPD in CPU-Z please? Mine for some reason says 3-5-5-10 even though it says 3-4-4-8 on the sticker on the heatspreaders.

lol. itll be on auto on the bios thats why. set it to 3-4-4-8 manually in the bios

No. I said in the SPD in CPU-Z. I have mine set at 250mhz 1:1 @3-4-3-5 1T in the bios. Running correctly at 3-4-4-8 the damn stuff will not go past 253mhz no matter what voltage i give it. The system gets really unstable and gives loads of errors in memtest and super pi will not even run. So i had to stick with 250 and tightened up the timings a bit.

They show no performance at increased voltage.
Voltage matters not to theses chips

Max 260 MEMTEST free

no more

shame i Can't get 1:1

i know there is no performance but 280mhz would be nice. :)

Ok, this stuff is rubbish. Mine must be faulty because it is now only running at 238.6mhz at 3-4-4-8 1T so as it is'nt doing the 250 it is supposed to i will be using the distance selling regs and returning them for a full refund and probably giving up on having 2gb of ram as this was my third attempt.
First attempt was from OCUK and i ordered a 2gb kit of Corsair XMS 4000 for which they took my money even though it was out of stock (website said it was in stock but after a week of waiting i used the webnote and found it was out). Order cancelled and money refunded.
Second attempt was from elsewhere and was for a 2gb kit of OCZ PC4000 Gold cas2.5 which turned out to be fake. I recieved what looked like the right stuff and was labelled correctly but turned out to be a stick of OCZ 512mb Value PC3200 and a stick of single channel OCZ 512mb PC4000. I returned that got a partial refund plus the Gskill HZ kit which i have found to be rubbish. Now going to give up and stick with my trusty Crucial value ram.

Hi,

Thought I would start a thread about the Gskill HZ ram.

What clocks, voltages and timings are you running.

At the moment I am running 260mhz at stock voltages and timings currently tweaking my opteron 170.

would be interesting to know what other people were running:)

Thanks for your input. :)

I must admit the G.Skill 2gb HZ kits are fantastic, just got mine today.I am running mine at the moment at 263mhz 3-4-3-8 timings and i know it boots into windows at 290mhz 3-5-5-10 need to play a bit more with this ram but for the price of 2gb it is good ;) ...
