Struggling to find the desire to complete this, think I'm very near the end but it feels like a slog now. Online was very disappointing, it will be on the mm as soon as I can be bothered to do the last of the core missions.

I have to applaud rock star on the world they have created, however I'm ready for a new gaming experience
 
I was so peeped last night, doing the mission where

you rescue Michael from the meat factory.

Managed to escape, and got on to the freeway to make a run off it and the game froze. Spent ages doing that mission as I kept getting killed.
 
Was messing around last night, stole a yacht in the harbour intending to cruise, quickly got bored and ditched it. Decided to jog to Trevor's garage to boost his stamina. When I got there, there was an identical yacht parked neatly outside in the street :)

Took a snapmatic but it looks like all my photos have disappeared from the Social club :( Do they get saved elsewhere?

Same. I haven't returned to the single player world since finishing it, yet GTAIV I played to the death under the same conditions. Strange.

I have now got all those millions to invest into the very last Lester assassination mission too as I left that until I received my windfall payout from the PIS stocks deal.
 
Im so sorry for asking this, but i finally picked up a copy today, installed the install disk to my 360s (the 2013 one) 320gb hdd, set my console to 720p and its jumpy as hell and textures are shocking, and very jaggy too, now im not expecting 100% smooth lines being a 360, but was expecting it to be better considering.

Playing on a 40" samsung tv.

Graphics and AA are quite bad yes. Looks a bit like SA to be. I see cars fully render when I am a few meters away.
 
I think the graphic are fine, it is graphic that is coming out of a machine out of 2006.

I mean i can see some jaggy bits but it looks great overall.

Hi

Rockstar has said its best not to run the game off just the HDD as this can cause performance issues.. i have installed the first disc to the 360s HDD and second disc to a usb stick this helps a lot but its far from perfect :)

Somehow i managed to get it looking better, for some reason in the game settings the sound option was set to 5.1 which i dont have connected to my tv, changed it to the TV speaker option and it smoothed out most of the game in terms of aa and the jumpy parts - will pick up a usb drive next week as the sound of the dvd drive does my head in.
Setting the 360 to 720p seemed to make the biggest difference.
 
Just completed this... Didn't rate it tbh - 7/10. Not sure how the likes of gamespot gave it a 9!

- Story was all over the place and the ending was such an anti-climax. Didn't even realise it was until the credits hit!

- Whats up with shooting someone, they fall down and then get up again? Pretty much every guy...

- Cops are a joke, didn't even get arrested once on my play through.

- You never seem to lose your guns? No risk.

- There seems to be an abundance of nice cars lol... Takes the wow factor away.

Could be worse though = D Trevor was excellent. Should've just been about him!
 
To be honest, I'm only up to mission where you steal a helicopter from an army base, and I'm bored. I keep sticking FIFA back in every 5 mins.

I might flog it and stick the money towards Black Flag on PC, which is more my sort of game.
 
Same. I got it on release... So it took me a while lol.

Amazon are doing a trade in for £26 i think? This will be my first and I put the condition as like new? Not sure sure if that means in its wrapper though otherwise it will be downgraded to £20!

Hmm... Well, I had a lot more trouble with previous games, none of this looking at your radar to see their line of sight and then parking up in some alley despite having killed about 50 people.
 
Quick question!

Doing the rounds up and down the coast trying to retrieve the submarine pieces. Got 24/30 now but at the area I'm at now where the sonar is showing the next piece a shark has turned up and won't stop circling the red dingy. I cant seem to shoot it from the boat? I'm pretty sure I've shot weapons whilst on a boat before though, is the red dingy you use in these missions unable to be used to shoot from or something? Holding down the 'aim/track target' button on the 360 controller just follows the sharks line of swimming, it wont let me actually pull the trigger?
