Tried the new mode this week and thought i was going well cos of the bananas etc but the damn ai or player (hard to tell) with this new tavern mode got me to run out of cards as he kept spamming this card that drew cards all the time. Grr.. How come it wasnt as easy as the first week of that tarvern thing where i beat it first try lol.

Also how come i totally suck at using mage now. Wasnt that bad before but i have 2 quests to use mage and ive gone about 5 games and lost em all with my mage.

If you have the cards then mage can be easy wins in this weeks brawl. I managed 11 wins 0 losses last night.

Key cards were:

Mana wyrm
Flame walker
Spell bender (nearly always gets a banana buff)
Sorc's Apprentice
Archmage Antonidas

then filled out with value small minions and a few low cost spells.

You only play against real players in Brawl.

Yep. I went 23-5 with this deck yesterday. 82% WR.

Is there any point in playing Tavern Brawl past getting your free deck (other than the fun factor)?

nope, but then you could say the same for casual mode too.

its more just a pass the time mode.

Liking Mage but probably mostly due to the fact it's my highest level class (21 I think) having carried on with Jaina since the tutorial.

Been working through opening the rest of the basic class cards and enjoyed playing as Warrior, Priest seemed good and like the idea of nicking your opponents cardstoo, will have to play with this class a bit more.

main thing is to keep grinding away.

i think my frst golden portrait will be a my warlock as im only 150wins away from getting it.

got 800 gold burning a hole aswell. am determined to save it for a laugh but i dont know if i can be bothered.

I do love doing that too but Magehas worked its way back to being my favourite class.

The sheer annoyance of Flamewaker/Mana Wyrm and Mirror Entity/Counter Spell is so much fun. Counter Spell is SO underratted and unexecpted.

Lock. It just seems to be the class im best at. Day9's Shadow Priest deck looks like the most fun but i dont have the cards for it.

Rogue for me. Love finishing opponents / clearing boards with bladefury and the idea of combos SI7, Eviscerate etc

Been playing a Aggro Paladin build lately, only got to rank 13 so far, haven't really pushed/tried to get much higher.

Only decks I have played a reasonable amount are:

Trump/Value Mage (Everyone starts out playing mage right?)
Muster Paladin (but with Echoing ooze/blessing of kings combo)
Ramp druid (with KT although I still lack a few Druid class cards)
Classic Zoo!

Enjoyed them all!
