i have opened over 20 packs with ingame gold on my f2p EU account and so far only had the van cleef as a legendary and 3 epics (2 of which i de'd as they were cards i don't use) so not having the greatest luck with packs either.

had much better luck on my main Americas account and pulled quite a few legendary's out and most of the epics.

if i hat my tinfoil hat on i would maybe say that purchasing at least a few packs gives you better luck with what you get lol :)

Dont worry i know all to well, dumped about 80 pounds in to the game i got Nat Paggle, Krush, Antonidas, and Gromm. Really nothing special for opening about 200 packs in total.

Feel like i really didn't get my money's worth, a cousin of mine is averaging a legendary every 10-15 packs i'm probably more than double that tbh.

It's geared towards miracle rogue, ramp druid, control warrior, hand lock etc. Terrible against aggro but I'm not seeing much aggro now so it's ok otherwise I would play something else.

15 to 7 was plain sailing but it's been a grind from there. Hit 7-5 (rank-stars) dropped back to 8 then bounced around 7 before hitting 6 then did 6-0 to 6-5 and back twice before reaching 5. Then at 5 you don't get win streak bonuses so your wins need to be even more consistent.

I've been playing control warrior and usually do OK against Druids. When I lose it's usually that FoN and/or Savage Roar burst that gets me.

You are right about getting past Rank 7. It starts getting tough around there so I appreciate how hard it can be.

Its a good card as it helps in two different situations on your side of the board. If its pretty much empty the two taunts can buy some time if you're struggling for board control but if you have a taunt out there or other minions, the +2/+2 very much can swing it in your favor. Buffing a 2nd stage Harvest Golem or Keeper of the Grove to 4 attack is handy and buffing health above 4 is nice against your opponents removal.

A good utility card also you get a strong minion, however it is very pricey to play.
 
Need to overhaul my druid deck. I'll put Cenarius in and maybe Black Knight.

Also been considering dropping swipe completely in favour of two starfalls. Starfall seems the better card as you have the choice of single/aoe whereas swipe is kinda weak.

He's a nice card but definitely not essential.

Swipe is amazing, would be suicide to remove it imo. It's like playing miracle rogue without an auctioneer :p

Is it though? Starfall does the same thing. It's extremely rare you want to play swipe on turn 4 so starfall costing a little more is insignificant.
 
Swipe is both direct + aoe and can also be used for face as a finisher behind taunts when star fall only targets minions. Combo'd w/ Thalnos at 6 mana or azure drake at 9 is a beast.

Also it's not that you may not play it at turn 4 it's that druids creatures are often expensive, and that 1 mana cost difference can be the difference between playing a minion and swipe or just playing star fall so even if you clear the board you still lose control if you can't get anything down.

But give it a go I'm interested in how far you can take a druid deck w/ out swipe :)
 
3 Legendaries today. Had like 680 gold saved for expansion but decided to spend it instead, got 5 Packs and an arena run. Got rag and cenarius, duplicates, and just got a King Krush after a 1-3 arena run. Picked only cards under 4 mana but didn't go too well :p.

Tempted to DE him though, only want Gromm and Alex now for control warrior.

Just hit lv 5 as miracle rogue probably not going to bother playing much more as i wont get even close to legend unless i play a tonne of games. Happy enough with that and going to mess around in casual for a while i guess.
