The Official Hearthstone : Heroes of Warcraft Thread

i need to stop spending my gold. everytime i get above 100 i buy a new pack. if i forget and get above 150 i go into arena (which im not too good at) and end up with a pack and something like 25 gold.

Yes you're right. There is a possible 30 damage combo that requires 7 cards but I've never seen it once in a real match ever. Maybe it's so rare Blizz don't consider it a problem.

A 5 card OTK is equivalent to the old Warrior Giant OTK deck which required 5 cards and was always being played. Just a thought.

Well Blizzard nerfed the broken card of that combo (Warsong Commander) as charge to all minions, regardless of attack was always pretty broken.

Leeroy is the problem card, they need to look at reworking him IMO.

Precisely my point! :)

Agreed. It's been 'on the cards' for a while. Maybe he will be one of the changes introduced in order to balance Naxx.

Something simple like giving the whelps taunt. You could still remove them with various things like hero power, fan of knives, whirlwind but you wouldn't be able to Leeroy face several times in succession, which seems to be the issue.

Goddammit I was just on match 5 of a 4-0 Arena run as hunter, very tough and close game but I just managed to beat my opponent, then it freezes on the victory fireworks screen before the usual portrait progress bar thing appears and eventually times out with the "Closed - Your connection to the server timed out" message

Now I can't get back onto the game!!! I'm gonna be annoyed if when it eventually allows me back on it's counted that game as a loss

Finally got a good priest deck today and got an 8 win arena key, my previous best was 4. made all my money back + a pack, dust and a gold temple enforcer not bad!

I played Arena a few times when I first started and had no cards to play with, never got past 3 wins. Then I started building my collection up and only played ranked. Read your post and thought i mighht give Arena a go again now I'm a bit more experienced. Just got to 7 wins with warlock deck, got 185 gold and a pack. Gonna try again tomorrow now.

Ye i think arena comes down to how well u build your deck, i used Trump's spreadsheet and Arenvalue.com to get a rough guideline and my deck came out pretty well. The only thing it lacked was early game which i managed to get away with.

Update: Phew! The game didn't treat that match as a loss so I'm still good at 5-0

I really enjoy Arena :) Not knowing exactly what cards the other player might have makes the games so tense and interesting

I use this deck, it's quite nice and definitely a big improvement on my old miracle deck that i used to play.

Late reply missed your first post. What rank have you taken this too? It's a lot like Xixo's miracle rogue he was first to reach legend this season. I initially took it to rank 11 at the start of the season but didn't find it consistent enough.

I haven't been playing Miracle for a while but I found this deck more consistent:

You could swap the second conceal for something else like a second shiv or van cleef. You rarely need more than one conceal but having two makes it more likely you will at least draw into one of them. I found the perdition blade really useful, especially against aggro decks it's like having a third Si:7 and combos well with deadly poison.
