no, and they all seem to be running @ 1080 rez too
do a rerun setter and edit your post, just to keep inline

how are you finding your new xfire 6950 comparing to your old 580? smoother gameplay?

580's get it right

yeah they seem to be more fluid, no real issues at all, temps are nice, noise is not an issue, im uber surprised to say the least, i went against everything i thought buying these, and im glad i did now

Was thinking about upgrading in the new year to a GTX580 but it seems my GTX280's are still able to hold their own (obviously no DX11 though)

I can only explain this result by assuming my dual core is really holding me back.

This is 6950 CF which should be getting around 100 fps according to others. These are both flashed to 6970 BIOS too :/

I let the demo run through once aswell (otherwise my min FPS is around 16).

Actually, the sensors tab of GPU-Z is showing zero load on one of the cards.....possible problem?

Edit: False alarm there I think, I was viewing load while Heaven was windowed. If I run it full screen and check back at 'max' load they both hit around 70% or so.

Can't get tesselation on for some reason, it's blanked out and won't let me open the options for it.

I think its because its a feature of DX11 but your Gfx card doesn't support it. It should be there once you have your crossfired 6950's.

My single GTX 280 hits 40FPS in Heaven, which on the face of it doesn't appear too bad, but I've a feeling it's like comparing apples and oranges, I think the difference the extra load the tesselation and dx11 stuff puts on is probably quite high.

Still would be interested to see just what the difference is with these new cards, running with the same features... i.e DX10 with no tessaltion.

Just thought I'd add a few results from a different card to help round things out...

4870x2 @ 800/1000
DirectX 10

And even though it doesn't do DirectX 11 I ran this to be as consistent as I could...

Thanks for that.. so realistically, looking at something in the order of 30-40fps (most likely closer to 30) difference on one card to my gtx280... probably a fairly noticeable difference right there, and some more if flashed! Definitely gonna have to start working on SWMBO!

Id say you could clock those 280's a bit more yet, had one that ran 714/1251/1504, no dx 11 but still very decent cards.
