***The Official HP TouchPad Thread***

Read on the xda forums the signalex stand above can start to open by itself due to the weight so that could be an issue for others (or the person has a faulty unit)..... Anyway a string or something to stop that might be useful to try.

It is not.

Is that just a silly guess? As I am currently uploading an 800mb file right now. I also tried a 3gb file and it told me to upgrade my account.

Seriously, why do people post stuff as fact without having a clue or even doing a quick test?

Thank you for your pre-order for the HP TouchPad. As you know, we
have been trying very hard to get our hands on stock of this product.
Unfortunately, we have been unable to locate any stock at a price
which we feel is fair to pass on to our customers. As a result we
have to cancel the order you placed.

You will soon receive an official order cancellation email; however
we have kept a record of your interest in the HP TouchPad, and you
will be first to know if it ever becomes available to buy on xxxx.com.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience or disappointment caused
and confirm that all necessary refunds will be issued as soon as the
orders are cancelled.

Kind regards,

Zoe

Blimey, you're selling it already?!! :p

Hahaha no, this one is for me, although if they are really that worth anywhere near that much.... sheesh.

It was the 64gb that arrived by the way (and a 16gb for a friend), I just got back.

Sorry for awful pic. It's white as well, I didn't realise that!

Nice, lucky you!

Don't think I'm going to open it until I actually know how rare these things are! Although I feel a bit guilty doing that (I had genuinely bought it for my own use because more space is always nice and was only £159) I can't really justify keeping it for myself if it really is worth over £500 and I have a 32gb :/.
