About people reporting kernel instabilities is there a reason why nobody has dumped the kernel from the 64gb version so that people can use it on their 16/32's for 1.5ghz without any issues?

I think that happens when it does not accept your password, try cancelling it and trying again.

The password is all good as it says I am connected to the network

I know. Thats what it should do. All the guides say so

I enter the email address and password with the exchange and it just keeps coming up "2bad username and/or password"

I even entered the settings manually, no joy.

Access it via browser with same details and it lets you in. Even more worryingly/oddly is that after I tried to set up the exchange email and failed and went to the browser it logged me in automatically with the bloddy same hotmail address and password

What do you mean "with the Exchange". Exchange is for corporate work email only (unless you have an Exchange hosted mail which hotmail isn't).

Hotmail started supporting Exchange ActiveSync last August

So I turned it on for the first time, signed into my wifi and it finds it and password accepted.

then nothing?

I can't move on?

im sure i read different type of security can sort this
try changing your router to say wep just to test

The 64GB is a rare beast so it's early days for a dump (thinks I'll charge for one).

Gah still can't get my cards to work, something to do with the card companies not accepting 0.00 pence transactions, so it just bounces and throws up an loc02029 code.

Go to the email app, click the bit in the top right, click 'preferences and accounts', then select the account you want to change the signature for and it's on that page...
