This SDK business...
I can't get the drivers to install. I'm asking it to search for the drivers in the correct folder, but it's not finding them. Do I need Desire specific drivers?
EDIT: Epic Khaaan! I have that case on the way and was about to click buy on that holder yesterday. Will do now as it looks good.

The drivers should install automatically if you install HTC Sync first (and enable sync mode instead of drive mode)
Once installed you may uninstall HTC Sync as it's no longer needed and then just use the SDK from there on. My Device Manager sees the Desire as an "Android USB Device" and once expanded it is listed as "My HTC".

For ten quid I can't complain, it's not as strong as say a TomTom or Garmin satnav holder but then again I doubt anyone would expect it to be 
I've put some sticky back foam pads on the latch clip bit so it doesn't scratch the phone when I'm attaching it one day!

I got a similar pouch with my new memory card from a rain forest on a special bundle deal, but most of the time I rarely use the pouch
Does anyone have Hotmail working on their Desire? I have all my Google e-mail addresses working fine (obviously) so I might as well have everything on my Desire but was thinking it might not work the same for Hotmail?
( PS: I love how my Desire receives gmail before my PC does o_O )

Ok so i got my 8gb class 6 sd card today....how do i back up all my stuff on the sd card i have in the Desire and then restore it to my 8gb one??
I have mybackup pro but cant see any options that allow me to back up then restore to the new sd card.

Copy and paste from the card to a folder on your PC, the copy back.

Ok i was going to do that but wasnt too sure if it was going to cause any issues.

Did the same yesterday...
Most of your settings are on the phone anyway, so they should be there without doing the copy, but you may have problems with some apps - so copy all the contents over to the new card
Well even after 3 weeks i had been struggling to last a day with a full charge, ive probably had about 20% left after 12 hours.
I read someone had positive results by letting the phone go flat and turn off so the battery was flat then charging it while off over night. I didn't really think it would have an effect but as i didn't fully charge the phone when i first got it and just turned it straight on i thought id try it out..
Its been unplugged 10 hours now and ive used it easily as much as normal if not more and im now on 67%..
This could be for many reasons i guess but to my knowledge i have done nothing different today and used no different applications.
Just thought id post my preliminary results, I'll update you in a few days when i can compare it accurately to standard usage.
Any thoughts on this? All in my head or?

o_O how much are you using the phone?
Ive probably sent 30 texts, had 30ish emails come through to the phone, 25ish minutes with the phone on loudspeaker. Played abduction for 20 mins and little web browsing. So not heavy usage really!
