No mate I didn't say that - I'm merly pointing out that all you seem to see is the negatives of any phone other than the one you have

I'm willing to accept theirs negatives in the sensation over the SGSII, just like robbo has pointed out in his review. HOWEVER, the advantages far outweigh them for me....

I'm pointing out stuff as I see it. I point out good stuff if I see it and point out bad stuff but I've posted the negatives that nobody has mentioned yet and it's all legitimate anyway so why are you so uptight about them being mentioned? Seems to me you don't like it because you don't want to know about negatives you're not aware of as it's what you're getting.

The GS2 has a lot of negatives, see Neowin's frontpage for my review of it but you don't see me telling people to go away about it!

Any questions other than the video tests I'll do tomorrow? I can see pretty clearly the metering of the Galaxy S II is superior however the Sensation seems to capture colours more vibrantly, which is a credit to HTC considering how awful their camera stuff tends to be

Yes please Robbo, How do 3D games play, stuff like Need For Speed (if you have it of course). Also the HTC spec says the MHL cable is EXT-USB which is incompatible with anything but HTC phones. Does the port physically look different? Oh and DTS, will it play videos with DTS audio!

When I spoke too phones4U over there deal on the Sensation he said they dropped the price on the tarrif as it wasn't selling as they had hoped, on the other hand places can't get enough stock of the GS2 as Samsung can't make them fast enough.

If you had either phone you would be happy as they are both mint so it doesn't really matter, it boils down to what is important to you, if you are a sense fan then the choice is easy you go for the Sensation, if you prefer the screen on the GS2 and the better video recording then you go that way.

We all like different things there is no point arguing over it would be a boring world if we all had the same things, we could all end up with iphones :O

Which screen do you prefer overall robbo?

Is the extra resolution worth it over the quality of the SAMOLED+ in terms of colours and just overall quality (viewing angles etc.)?

I won't get a Sensation as said above it offers nothing over what I have now so no point, you got a seriously good deal so was a no brainier for you as if you hated it you could sell it and make a profit.

It depends on what you use it for really.

Web - qHD

Excellent thanks! I assume because of the latest Market update, THD games won't install or will they (and if they do, do they work too?).

I've got to wait until Monday/Tuesday now to see if I can get one in for review, hopefully via HTC otherwise I'll have to convince BTo2 through work for a demo handset but that's a way off

Any suggestions for games? I've only found Farm Tower HD and it looks beyond shocking, but I'll try it

Indeed, you can't really compare sales figures like this. I think HTC would win side by side purely because people trust them and HTC Sense is extremely popular with the general public. XDA Developers only make up a tiny portion of the market

Can I say what I don't like about both phone's and see if others agree ?

Both are about 10mm to tall
power button should be top right
usb/headphones should be bottom
iphone like home button on Samsung

What I consider best points on both phones

Amoled screen
Samsungs media playback and speaker quality
HTC styling and sense UI

I think You could make a stunning phone with a combination of the best bits put into a HD2 / Desire HD Chassis

As I said in my last post, I honestly don't see it making that much difference tbh:

Iirc didn't the desire sell the most units last year and then when the original GS came out, it beat the sales of the desire and touchwiz was pretty poor back then, laggy etc.

Don't forget about marketing as well as Samsung are much better in that area than HTC, LG etc. which will have a massive impact on sales.

But apple take the lead in the marketing area with there simple ads etc

It's a hard one to call, considering I mostly web browse I may lean toward the qHD but I'd be perfectly happy with either. You don't watch a video on the qHD and think "Oh my, the SAMOLED looks so much better!".

It absolutely does, however as I said earlier on today, the LCD screen is nowhere near as photogenic as an LED screen.

The colours certainly are more washed out in general but its nothing like videos and pictures show you.

Yeah, my thoughts too.

Don't know what is causing this though as the incredible S colour quality is better than the desire HD (this is a lot worst than the sensation though) and this IMO, must be due to the size or something

The GS 2 is still my choice for these reasons:

- SAMOLED+
- Better battery life
- Slightly better camera
- Prefer the overall look of the GS 2
- Faster/smoother
- A lot more internal storage
- More RAM
- Lighter
