Thornbury will be interesting. Where I used to live. Very strong lib dem seat, but I know a few who have switched from lib dem to Tories.
A lot of Steve webbs support comes from what he's done locally rather than because he's lib dem and with Tories and labour being so close, it looks like a lot have changed.

What happened when we had the vote to ditch FPTP for AV?

AV was rejected by voters.

That in no way means that FPTP is preferred to all other systems. Just that AV isn't any better.

The Tories were afraid to put PR on the table. But then Labour don't want it either. So looks like we're stuck with FPTP for the foreseeable future. How can it change when the two biggest parties won't even give people the option to change it?
