Could well be the last GE with Scotland as part of the union. Something a bit scary about that. But hey, if it happens it's the will of the people.

This isn't going to end well for anyone.
It's going to be fighting and a disaster.
Unlike com/lib who did what needed for the country.

Especially if the Conservatives end up doing well in England - will only reinforce the SNP's rhetoric about freeing Scotland from the Torys

Yes but how you draw that population equalised grid matters. The electoral commission could in theory do it at random and leave it at that, but that will favour one party over another arrangement.

The ONS output areas are for example an excellent basis to start from. How you group these output areas to build constituencies is where subjectivity comes in.
