*** The Official iPad (Early 2012) Thread ***

Nope I used my standard card

talking of 'something special'... I tried it multiple times and it didn't work... chrome/firefox/IE... no luck... then I though, ok.. I BET it'll work in Safari... and it did!

No luck here, on Safari or Chrome

I'm doing the aTV on seperate order as the delivery on it is 16-19 so might put the iPad back and thats a no no....

I don't believe it - I just got authorization of payment failed.... seriously, Apple are just trolling me. I've just bought an album off bloody iTunes with the same payment details.

You might have had a security check put on your transaction by your card issuer. happened to em when i ordered the original iPad and I had to ring my bank up and convince them i was not some scummy thief and I just wanted to spend the cash i work bloody hard for.

For what's its worth the banks in this case generally have no idea as transaction get shadowed.

the reason my card got declined was that they have blocked it due to it being cloned at a petrol station despite me having no dodgy transactions so just had to tx the money to joint account now waiting for stupid apple to work

It's that time of year once again, well it will be next Friday, where I get a new shiny toy and have to wipe the tears of Chinese slave children off of it.

ffs, an iPad 3 accidentally fell into my ATV basket.

Time to offload the iPad 1 onto the kid lol

There is also apparently a lot of fraudulent purchases made on iTunes, which is why the card protection may have seen the earlier purchase and thought it was somebody testing the card, before making another purchase from Apple for a greater amount.

I've had it happen with Halifax a couple of times.
