*** The Official iPad (Early 2012) Thread ***

Also, gonna go 64GB. Reason being: better to have too much than not enough, and also most people will go for 16/32GB so more chance of having to wait less time to get one.

I've got the original iPad, didn't upgrade to iPad 2. Said to myself, meh I'll wait for iPad 3. Now I'm even more meh and I'm quite a fan of apple products.

I even forgot about iPad announcement while at work today. If I see it in the shop and think ooh, its nice I'll get it. If its 'meh' I won't.

I think its just the way technology is now, there's no big jump in something new. Evolution rather revolution.

I read the tech mags like Stuff and T3 and its the same thing. There used to be interesting new tech stuff every so often. But now its the same products but updated to be smaller (or bigger), lighter, more powerful, last longer etc.

A game changer, really? Surfing the net completely new experience, seriously?

Maybe, but I'll want to see it first if its really that great. All that high res content, we'll need more storage space?

Maybe I'm just getting old and this stuff doesn't interest me as much. The hype thats built up for these announcements, journos blogging minute by minute during the announcement. :roll eyes: trying to make us think its ground breaking.

Upgrading is a complete luxury, but there's nothing wrong with that.

error me too first it said my card was declined then errored, errr no its not declined, luckily they haven't tried as internet banking shows no charges and natwest is pretty instant

Hmm tried to order like 10 times but kept getting the Ooops error - checked my order history and it's in there
