Anyone here order from Amazon? Mine is supposed to be coming today but it’s not yet dispatched. I’m wondering if it’s the usual amazon couriers or if they’re using someone like DPD instead for the phones.

Sometimes you don’t get a dispatch notice until later on in the afternoon if the delivery is scheduled to arrive before 9pm.

Upgraded from XS max to Pro Max. Initial thoughts

- Face ID materially faster
- camera is impressive
- everything else more or less same

But was it worth it? On the fence to make this same move. And im already expecting the same initial thoughts as you had

Got mine, restoring now. The ultra wide camera is insanely good.

I got mine yesterday, FaceID is certainly improved coming from an X, it does work at a bigger angle, great when it's on my desk, I barely have to move. Wide angle and dark mode are great too. Overall not a huge upgrade but some nice to have extras. Will be interesting to see how the battery life is, my X was passed it's best but it was still rare that I I ran out of battery before the end of the day, though I'm not a heavy user. While at work I have a work iPhone 8 so that also gets used a lot during the day and while driving my personal phone is plugged into my car for Car Play, which is now much better.

Picked a 11 128GB black one up in store directly.

Look at an 11 pro vs an 11 side by side and I really have to look hard to find the difference between them so an 11 is good enough for me

I've just done the same upgrade, same thoughts, doesn't seem it but the phones overall performance is much better, specially with the Face ID. one thing to note, it is a little heavier, not a lot but just enough to notice when holding for a while.

Night mode is incredible.
Much better than I was expecting.

Face ID is great too. (Coming from an iPhone 8 Plus).

As some others have said, the only thing I miss is 3D Touch. I must have used it more than the vast majority of iPhone users.
