Caved and picked up the Pro Max earlier, was going to go for green but didn't like it when I saw it in person so stuck with safe space grey.

Camera is noticeably better right off the bat, good job too as that looks like the only thing I'll be noticing. At least my 12 year tradition is intact.....sigh :p
 
I played around with a max in store, it was very nice (swipe keyboard at last!) but not enough to dissuade me from waiting for a Pixel 4 XL. If the XL isn't so great then I still may get one.

One of the things I used to miss about iOS was that the MDM options my workplace offered worked far better on that over Android.
The balance changed when Android 10 was released as they've added new MDM features. My app launcher is now split into personal and work; there is a shortcut in quick settings to turn off the workplace profile which comes in handy at weekends.

I'm still set on a new iPad though.

Question for anyone on iUP. Will the payment due tomorrow or next couple of days come off for my last phone? If so shouldn’t I get that back??

I should add I got the XS on launch day.
 
Bromley store only had the gold in stock in 64GB so I just traded my phone in for that, as I couldn’t be bothered to make it a wasted journey and come back again. It’s actually quite a nice colour (didn’t like the green, ALWAYS get space grey apart from last year when I got silver) although they all end up in somewhat opaque ultra-thin cases so it’s by-the-by. Did the 24 month payment plan and I think I’ll try and keep it that long, skipping next year’s model and focusing on the ‘tocks’ (famous last words).

Camera is hype worthy. Battery life definitely, noticeably better.

warranty is worldwide for the first 12 months, after warranty consumer rights apply with the country of purchase.

Exception is any region specific model like the 2 physical sim which can only be serviced in HK

Yeah the SIM free model supports the same frequencies, the operator based models in the US in some instances have some bands missing from what I remember looking at before.

I know definitely that the Apple Watch does not support the UK esim bands so it’s not worthwhile buying one of those when in the US if you’re going for that version.

Mine came an hour after I got phone and was displayed in general settings on phone.

loving the compactness of the iPhone 11 pro coming from a Xs Max. Sometime I miss the size but know deep down the standard is best for me. Pocket wise it a blessing not digging into my legs.

Mine was purchased with the phone off the Apple site, was yours bought separately?
 
Loving the night mode. Spent an hour or so messing around with light trails yesterday, felt like I was a teenager again when I got my first DSLR.

Definitely didn’t draw anything phallic....promise
 
Got an 11 Pro Max reserved at the Apple Store today... upgrading from an iPhone X

Having some second thoughts though, is it really going to be worth the upgrade? Convince me, people :p

The camera is massively better than the X, as is the battery life, the OS is definitely another too, everything is a lot snappier.
