Seems good so far ! Haven’t really had a chance to hammer it yet. But so far so good. I’m coming from an SE2020.

You may want to wipe and set up from new. If you migrated your data from an older iPhone, it might have corrupted or something and perhaps that’s why your battery isn’t that great.
Otherwise have a look in your app settings and see which app is draining your battery the most. Also check your background refresh for apps too ie things like location services can cause high battery drain if it’s constantly on. Most of my apps only use location services when I use the app.

I’ve gone for white this time. Always wished I’d had a white iPhone 4, so decided to have a go
My xs would get to 30% by end of day. My 12 pro is usually at around 50-60% by the time I put it on charge. Although I’ll watch a few videos and play some Spotify to drain the battery some more before I charge it overnight.My XS Max used to get to about 10% typically by the end of the day. The Pro so far has averaged 60% by end of day. That’s pretty impressive!
Impressed with the battery life but then as my xs is 2 yrs old, I’m not surprised lol.
Yeah, I think I recall the battery technology and optimisations improved considerably from the 11 onwards, so I suppose that’s why I’m impressed. The XS Max for me always was as I described previously for the whole time I owned it (down to ~10% each day) so it was good in consistency at least. Where as this is holding more charge throughout the day.

5G is still quite patchy and mostly it really only covers central London, coverage will be a lot more wide spread in a year or two I suspect.
Today, my wife’s iPhone mini is at 70% battery and 2hrs 23 SoT. Admittedly that’s at home on WiFi, but it’s a good result considering the battery size. Should be good for 7.5 hours SoT on a lazy day.
I’m at 3h27m SoT with 66% left in my battery at the moment.
100-99% on iPhones always takes about 30 mins in my experience, so you’ll probably not make it to 10.5 hours, but that’s really amazing battery life, with no need to qualify it with “in spite of the battery size”.
Aye, the battery life is miles better than my SE2020. So much so I’m going to struggle to kill the battery by the time I go to sleep.
In at 4 hrs 15 and 55pc on my 12, but I’ve done a couple of hours AirPlay. Yesterday it was tracking towards 11 hours SoT.
I can’t believe the improvement since the 6 hours I used to get on my new XS.
