I think what Apple have done around the notch by integrating it into the system is pretty clever. The name has the typical craziness but the functionality looks well done.

The whole SIM tray removal for certain markets does seem a little odd. I don’t travel much but remember rocking up at airports, going to the nearest phone place in the airport and buying a local SIM for the duration.

We can still do this as we’ll still have the tray but this is going to alienate a lot of US customers. I wonder how long it’ll be before it becomes standard for all their markets.

They could have done the screen in a way that gives you the option to narrow the screen to the point where you can’t see the cutout. It looks ugly sticking into the side of the video when watching Netflix or the like.

You’re clearly not happy with the phone. You should send it back and get a refund.

Since you got the phone, you seem to have a bit of a bee in your bonnet about the dynamic island. That gives the impression you’re not very happy with it.

I’ve got a Brodit Pro-clip that uses a mag-safe insert and it works great. Never had a problem with it falling off. It has a little shelf underneath which may help.

The little feet at the bottom probably a game changer for it falling off.

I use it in landscape mode from time to time and it's never fallen off that way round either.

@Feek how long did it take you to arrange your Home Screen? Mine's a mess, I wish Apple would make it easier.

Is this quite a common trend with apple/Barclays finance?

Dunno, I've never tried before.

Just tried myself, never really have issues etc and got declined. Says they look at Experian etc of which mines apparently like 994/999 at the mo.

Tried to sign up to their 0% finance or the apple upgrade programme? I didn't think it was possible to sign up to the latter unless you go into a store.
