Also I'm an Android user is there a way of streaming YouTube vids in your pocket on iPhones without paying for a YT Red sub? I use PureTuber or Vanced on my droid. What about ad blockers?

I can play a YouTube video, push the button to turn the phone off (not a full power off, duh) and the audio keeps playing.

Really missing the battery from my 13 pro max, the 14 pro just doesn’t compete at all.

As an experiment, can you switch off AOD for a couple of days and see if that makes any noticeable difference.

I think Feek likes a naked phone but I just can’t do it.

I wouldn’t have it any other way but we all do things differently and I wouldn’t knock anyone for putting their phone in a case.

I really don’t like that one and the way it turns a nicely designed phone into a shapeless blob though. I don’t see the point of that camera cover at all.

That toggle brings a button to your camera screen to manually switch macro mode on or off.

That's the thing, if I turn macro control off, that icon doesn't come up, Macro mode doesn't seem to activate?

You need to toggle it on for the macro icon to show. I’m not sure what else to suggest.

Yes, that’s the point. That toggle should allow you to manually switch macro on and off without having to go into the settings. You can’t enable it unless the phone thinks you’re close enough to actually use it though. If you go into the camera app and it’s not looking at something close, the icon won’t show.

I am, I much prefer the look and feel of naked phone, plus it makes it easier when I get in the car as I have a MagSafe cradle there.

I'm surprised that there's so few models which cover the lenses - I would have thought an easy solution would be a lens cap type cover which clicked into place over the lip on the back of the case - but no one seems to make one like that.

Because it's a non issue. They're sapphire so you're not going to scratch them and if you're really bothered, a quick wipe over is all you need.

I’ve had a refund on a device I bought using Apple trade in. I got a refund to my card for the amount I actually spent and the value of the item was refunded in the form of a gift voucher.

Buy applecare. If you need it, get a cheap flight or the Condor to the mainland. Get the repair and go home. Cheaper than paying the cost over there.
