That's one of the issues I have with my iPhone 7 i.e. it's just that bit to small when compared to my S7 (plus poor battery life) and I find the 7+ just that bit to unwieldy in the hand to use comfortably. That's why I like my S7 so much, it's what I call the Goldilocks effect i.e. 'just right', plus the screen on my S7 is way better than my iPhone 7.

They are usually on week and weeks back order from apple after a few minutes. You usually can't get one to pick up in store after the first few minutes and yet I could still get whatever one I wanted from my local apple store for pickup on the 22nd until this morning when magically they are all unavailable.
 
I think it's quite obvious it's not going to sell as fast when 2 models were announced at the same time with the better one still to come, unless they've got far more stock of the 8 this time around.
 
Just noticed Very are doing Iphone 8 plus for the same price as Apple but will deliver Friday, Apple site is saying maybe as late as 3rd of October.
 
Managed to source a 7+ 32GB Matte Black for just shy of £400 including 2 really nice cases and a screen protector, phone looks brand new lets just hope the battery isn't pap. Would have loved an 8+ but can't stomach paying double.
 
The 8 looks like a lovely bit of kit for someone upgrading from the 6/6S. Think I've got my heart set on the X now. I love my 7+ but I want a smaller phone whilst still having a big screen.

6S here and it's still doing a stellar job tbh. I'm gonna try and hold out til next year, when I hope some of the X features will make their way down to the 9. Wishful thinking eh! :D

Exactly what I'm doing, coming from a 6S. Will keep me going until the next set of iPhones in 2019 hopefully.
 
Another 6S owner checking in. I tend to buy ~12 months old used phones so you don't end up selling a kidney to pay for it, so might pick up an 8 next year.
 
Unless I am missing something I should be able to wireless charge my new 8 with my current S7 Edge Samsung Wireless Quick Charger should I not?
