You have to set it to 4k at 60fps in settings under camera...

Videos look awesome and super sharp, sound quality and volume are both excellent. Stereo speakers are awesome.

Ok I came from a basic iPhone 6 to a 8 plus (EE mistake I ordered a 8)

Wow

Camera is superb
So fast

Funny really I can’t tell you the last time I carried my phone around without a case to appreciate the black of it.

Have to see what the screen is like. It could be worth the wait, FaceID I'm not so sure.

I popped into my local Currys Mega Store which has an dedicated Apple section in it. There were balloons and banners up every where saying iPhone 8 and loads of staff with iPhone 8 t-shirts on.

There was no customers at all at the Apple section but there was people looking at other phones in the store.

I have switched from a Samsung S7 Edge, so glad i did.

Two things:

I love wireless charging.

The camera is incredible. Shooting in raw lets you make use of a lot of detail and dynamic range.

Just arrived, works great. Phone doesn't even need to be on the pad, 10cm above it allows it to charge.

It’s a pretty weak release. It’s really a 7S, overshadowed by a new tier of handset. We’ve not had a release like this before.

Going by the settings description, 1 minute of 4k 60fps will use 400MB, so 10 minutes will use 4GB, giving you roughly 2 hours 30 minutes of 4k 60fps video.

If you record at 40 30fps, it will use 170MB a minute, so 1.7GB for 10 minutes or roughly 6 hours of video.
