No worries, no idea why O2's direct pricing is so bad.
Getting used to it, just feels a bit counter intuitive to have to press the sleep/wake button as well. I like Touch ID. Guess it got sacrificed to the "OMG the bezel" gods.
Good value Spigen case just turned up from Amazon, so hopefully it'll stop sliding off everything now. I like the phone, nice and quick and the camera is excellent. Anyone complaining about the screen resolution just have eagle like eyesight, unlike us approaching middle age folk...

Can’t say I’ve ever had a problem with TouchID.
Works every time for me on multiple devices.
Same here, never had a problem with it on the iPhone 6 or an iPad Air 2. Quick touch and it unlocks.

I didn't have any problems with TouchID most of the time but FaceID is so much better, especially now it's cold and wet, which were two situations that messed it up either through gloves or wet hands.
I have. I’ve worn a trilby, flat cap, statson, beanie and pork pie. All worked fineI've not tested it yet while wearing a bobble hat!
Same here most of the time touchid worked well, other than sweaty hands or a bit of moisture on the home button. Then it would stop working till I wiped my hands or the screen.
Faceid is a god send in all honesty, absolutely love it and works 100% of the time. Hasn’t failed me once plus on my 6s I was getting the crunchy button as well.

I must be one of the lucky ones, my Bare case arrived earlier with no customs charges and no quality issues. I was expecting it to be delivered by DHL but it came with the rest of the post.
Do you know find it a bit slippery to hold? My wifes case is from amazon and feels much easier to hold....
Apart from that its a great case and very minimal - I didnt get any customs charges either

It's definitely not the most grippy case I've seen but I don't think I'd go as far as to say it's slippery.

I've had grippier cases, but it's notably less slick than a naked phone. Seems rather easily scratched so far, but I don't look at the back of the phone so don't really care.
Left for work yesterday at 7:30 and took XR off charge. Did some browsing at lunch and other random browsing at points. 2 hours of screen time in total. Didn’t put my phone on charge last night. Been browsing for 20 minutes this morning.

5 hrs of screen time across yesterday (yeah I know but it's new and shiny!). Hour or so of music over Bluetooth, an hour of video watching via AirPlay. Seems to have done a couple of gigs of Photo library syncing as well over 4G. Still had 40% left at 1am. It's impressive.
Has anyone here activated the esim?
My wife has an XS but it's not obvious how to go about it and I was considering getting one as well.
I'd need to use my physical work sim but can I get a code from Vodafone that'd port my number and current deal to the esim or do you need to set up a new account on that one?

Pressing it for what? Can't you just tap the screen or swipe up to unlock?
