That's incredible! I requested a RMA for my Pixel 2 today because it has a loose USB port, and I'm tempted to try an XR during the two week waiting period.
EDIT: If you buy a phone in an Apple store, can you return it online? I've been using Android for about 3 years so switching back to iOS is scary, yet strangely appealing.

No you won’t be able to return it online due to you being able to see and play with a display phone.
Ah okay, thanks. I'm in central London tomorrow and Thursday so I could have picked one up. Online orders are being delivered between 6-8 Nov which isn't too big of a problem.
Same here, since my 6s I’ve always had that raise to wake on but with the xs and xs max it makes more sense to have that option enabled.
It’s just so fluid, raise your phone and swipe up to unlock it. Easy peasy lemon squeezy
You could just go and play with one if you want to. Then either decide to buy one there and then or order online.
I could but you never get a great feeling for the OS until you start using your apps. I also use Android Auto extensively so I'd like to test CarPlay.
I use CarPlay daily and have never had an issue. Works even better now you can use Waze or Google Maps
Yeah, I wouldn't even consider an iPhone if it didn't have Google Maps available in CarPlay.

I didn't until I got grumpy about the air bubbles that I thougth were in the case material and had a close look.
that's what I saw too and emailed them - they told me about the protective cover you need to remove - shame it doesnt mention that in box (unless I missed it!!)
So an update from bare cases, I emailed them a week or so ago regarding some qc issues on the case ie excess plastic on bottom lip and rough edge on the top left hand corner.
They replied back next day and asked for pictures which I sent to them.
Cue to today, they emailed me to say a new case is on its way to me.
Lovely result there from bare cases, they didn’t ask for the old case back. Just said they are sending out another one for me.
