We’ve got ours up, only because it was delivered so quickly. Expected it to be delayed sending out so ordered a bit earlier. Arrived 2 days later…
I’m not a Christmas person at all, but the smell of a real Christmas tree is a pleasant one.

My parents put up theirs about a week before Christmas, when everyone else down their road has put up theirs within the first week of Dec. It looks like they don’t celebrate Christmas to this point.

I put mine up second week December.

Yup, been hassled constantly the last few weeks, so finally relented and got it out of the attic. Ended up causing a row with the other half because I put the lights on wrong, so she's moving out after Christmas

It isn't even ******* December yet! Mine goes up a couple of days before Christmas and comes down a couple of days after. But I might not bother this year, I'm working Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

No point you putting a tree up tbh, sounds like a lot of effort every year anyway if you only have it up for a few days.

My tree goes up at 2359 on Christmas Eve and I take that spiky green ****er down at 0001 on Christmas Day. I’m well hard.

There's other things you can do to lift spirits up which doesn't involve putting up decs earlier than usual. Watching your favourite films/tv series, playing up beat music, wear brighter clothing etc.

At work we have, as they turned the Xmas lights on the area last week and it's 'requested' that businesses put their decorations up at the same time if any are going up.

At home earliest it will go up is this weekend, but we've got a new puppy and she'll love it if we put the full-size tree out so may go with a small one that's not on the floor this year.
