***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

Powermat use their own standard. There's been talk of them adopting Qi but had a quick google and found nothing. Hope I'm wrong - would buy some in an instant... got any spec sheets? :)

I read somewhere that powermat's use their own tech but also support QI.

All these people complaining about ten pound shipping, you just paid under 300 for 4-500 phone, and your complaint is the tenner shipping? Maybe they should have added a tenner onto the handsets price and called it free shipping.

More, why are they charging for shipping on items that people didn't order...?

Anyway, Google are saying that I may have to re-order. So in another words, I order in plenty of time, I pay for the shipping, but due to Google's **** up I am the one that has to wait for the next wave of devices and play the waiting game again?

Really professional.

Okay, I shouldn't have to re-order. However, they are getting back to me via email within 48 hours, they have a dedicated email-only support team to deal with cases where everything is already known.

That's all good and dandy, but why can't they simply give me an RMA number, refund my postage, reserve a 16GB from the next batch, let me use this phone for the time being, and send the next device out when it comes back in stock? It should be as simple as that.

A beautiful outcome that would be, but then the 8GB could no longer be sold as new. They're unlikely to go for that :-(

I'm hoping for it for you though.

Because they are stupid.

The dedicated email support team that really didn't have a clue when dealing with my refund. One thing google definitely need to take a leaf out of apples book for is customer service as theirs is appalling.

I received a custom order macbook pro from apple that had a very small dent in it, got on the phone and within minutes I had a new one ordered which arrived 2 days later. They then arranged collection of my one (I had to pay the cost of returning my n7 to google) and on top of that gave me a £70 refund.

You tease!
When did you order?
What was your order status

Is it shiny and beautiful?

Also - if you checked the "link device" - what difference has it made - are you signed in as you upon bootup?
