***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

Google have REALLY ****** this up. So, I received mine today...aside from the fact it isn't a 16GB that I ordered, but an 8GB.

Which first leads me to:
a) How thick can some people be?
b) How can their systems NOT pick this up when they scan the item?

Oh jeez. Seems they really are incompetent.

All these people complaining about ten pound shipping, you just paid under 300 for 4-500 phone, and your complaint is the tenner shipping? Maybe they should have added a tenner onto the handsets price and called it free shipping.

They probably should have done that, but they didn't!

No one's really complaining about the cost it's the actual service in most cases related to the cost of shipping.

I think the reason it 9.99 is because it's shipped from Dublin.

Yep. All was fine. The receipt, fine. The order itself...no.

On the phone with them now. Expect a full refund of my shipping, obviously.

Good luck though be prepared for a frustrating ordeal. It took me over two months of constant phone calls and emails to finally get a refund on my nexus 7 I ordered through the play store.

The Nexus 4 uses the Qi standard, as does the mat above. They're compatible.

Powermat use their own standard. There's been talk of them adopting Qi but had a quick google and found nothing. Hope I'm wrong - would buy some in an instant... got any spec sheets? :)

They should have done this, the problem is we all order stuff online all the time, so we all know that next day delivery is about £7 from pretty much everywhere, hence waiting doesn't seem right when you've paid more than that specifically for delivery...

Wasted 10 mins writing an angry email, came back instantly with an automated response, customer service at it's best !

Orders are shipped within two business days of placing your order, and will be delivered upon two additional business days of processing.

According to our records, your order should ship by the evening of November 15.

Upon receiving your shipping confirmation email, you'll be given a tracking number that will assist you in determining your package's estimated delivery date. Please note that it might take up to 24 hours before the tracking number returns any information.

For more information on shipping and delivery, please see this article in our help center:

A lot of places even the smaller ones offer free next day delivery over a relatively small amount so I would have expected a massive company like Google to suck up at least some of the cost.
