***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

Lost 50% battery in 3 hours so far. Played games for about 30 minutes, 10 minutes on the phone and the rest has been texting/whatsapp. Turned off NFC to see if that improves it a bit.

Here is the battery stats and my brightness level :

Looks like the battery will be around the same as the GS3 then getting around 4-5hours on screen time.

sounds a lot worse, I get 4-4.5 hours on screen time at 100% brightness on my s3. Oh well, it won't deter me from getting one.

I think it maybe the NFC draining some battery, because my first charge was similarly bad however after I turned off the NFC this second charge seems a fair amount better, I have been keeping it on auto-brightness.

Wow... I never got 4 hours on 100% brightness. I get about 3-4 hours on about 30% brightness, over a typical day with 80% mobile date and 20% Wi-Fi usage.

To get decent standby battery:
turn off Google now
turn off Google backups

I never turn nfc off on my s3, it has never had any significant effect on my battery life when off.
