Had my first play with one of these in CPW today, and thought it was great. Seemed much quicker than my GS2 and thought the screen looked very good. I know with the back order I'm unlikely to get one before Christmas, but if i placed an order now would I get charged now or when the phone is shipped out? As I haven't got all the funds for a couple of weeks, but want to try and get an order in now as don't want to end up waiting months til the next batch is available.

Had a play with one in an O2 store today and wasnt impressed, not getting the whole "premium" feel, screen was quite meh. At play store / Google prices its a bargain but honestly personally I'd rather have an SIII or note 2 on contract pricing. Just my 2p's worth

this guy on ebay still claiming its all legit - emailing him - latest I have asked for a photo with a piece of paper next to it with my ebay user name and todays date written down - he also claims you are protected through EBAY when you pay not through paypal??? keep you posted
I have an s3 and the nexus 4 display is definitely not washed out in comparison
Both on 100% brightness (s3 set to natural as its over saturated on normal). Nexus 4 on top s3 bottom.
Loving the nexus 4. IMO a much better phone to use than my s3 apart from the camera.

Got to say, the nexus 4 screen looks A LOT better than the GS 3 screen there. Much prefer the looks of it.

I think it is just due to there being similar problems with the screen manufacturing process like there is with the nexus 7, most people getting units, which have washed out displays and others getting vibrant screens.
The two things that this thread is lacking are full size photos and 1080P videos in all conditions!

My only bugbear is the yellowing when I look off centre. It's very noticeable. My old Optimus 2X had the same problem. Shame because otherwise the screen is ace.

My battery is good. Much more use than my gn. Wish I could remove it though.
