Shipping email received at 3am, status changed to shipped, ordered 16gb at 6:40pm on weds.

From the time you get the email with I'd at 3am would that be its already on its way and in tents hands ? If so would that mean a delivery attempt on today or tomorrow ?

Mine was ordered (16GB) 8-9'ish on Wednesday night with a 4-5 week shipping estimate. Just checked my email and it's shipped with a tracking number.

Either they have received a lot more devices than they where expecting or they are shipping the orders at random?
 
I'm quite perplexed as to why they just can't send them out as and when they get the orders in?

Really does make them look second rate compared to Apple with stuff like this.

Had the same email this morning pal! had 4-5 week estimate... unless its getting delivered by horse and cart?
 
So do you think the shipping email from last night means it will be delivered today or tomorrow ? Just so I know what I need to do about working from home etc.

Any advice / ideas most welcome.

It would be the same regardless of price unfortunately, I think it's TNT fulfilment services that are packing the orders, who won't have any care for order as long as a quota is met.

My N10 took two days, check the tracking details.

I got my shipping email at 7pm yesterday and the tracking status says it's at my local depot now and is due for delivery before 6.
 
Just spoke to Google about my order. Ended up speaking to a CS rep on the West coat of the US.

Even though my order is Pending on my wallet, its down as approved and processing on their system, and i should receive an email within the next 24 hours.
 
Also just had a chat with the 'Google guy' and according to him, TNT messed up some orders and sent out incorrect tracking numbers. Apparently orders are getting processed on a first come first serve basis so it would be interesting to see if these 4 - 5 week orders being sent out are legit?

I'm sure we'll find out soon!
